Empire Szechuan Garden

Since there's no decent Chinese food in Astoria, we have to order from Sunnyside. Empire Szechuan Garden has been consistently great over the years.

Pretty good. But kinda confused as to why the dinner and lunch specials are different price. I wanted to order lunch special. 😩 is the dinner special diff. form lunch spec. and how?

Best in the neighborhood. Standard spot, but everything's served hot and fresh.

Decent neighborhood Chinese takeout at reasonable neighborhood prices. Delivery is quick and reliable. Special kudos to the woman who takes the orders over the phone and sometimes does delivery. She is super-cheerful, her English is really good, and I really appreciate her!

The delicious pepper steak with onions had so little beef it could have been a vegetarian dish😳

Rice is like plastic and they don’t say if a dish is spicy or super spicy....is not the first time I order and they don’t say...I’m allergic to spicy 😭🤢

Our go to Chinese restaurant. The lady there is very very nice and accommodating to any customizations we request. The food is always delicious and definitely worth the wait during peak hours.

Great Chinese takeout in the neighborhood. Beats some of the other local spots by far. I usually judge a place by their steamed dumplings, which were excellent. A ton of food came with the order. I’m happy I found my go-to takeout spot!
