We ordered some eggs, bacon and coffee. First of all took ages to bring the food and when it arrived, the food was cold. Then after we ate the food they brought the coffee... it all felt very disorganized. Coffee wasnt great, feed neither. Staff was very nice though.

Great variety of grocery wines and cheeses. Up scale supermarket and bakery.

In the cafeteria was the worst service we had during our vacation in Fortaleza. My family and I will never return there. A man who is one of the oldest waiters in this place in the cafeteria is the worst waiter I have ever had in my life.

Absolutely amazing restaurant and market. The restaurant was so delicious, my family had dinner and then went back for breakfast the next day. We had the pizzas for dinner and they were some of the best pizzas we had in the area. The breakfast was equally good and a very big variety. The market had many fresh fruits and vegetables, and a wide variety of products. The cakes and desserts looked and tasted even better.

Order their Caesar salad, a good size portion served with lots of chicken, not the best dressing but at an affordable price. The restaurant is located inside an Italian grocery store and winery. it offers lots of imported cheeses and cold cuts as well as chocolates and much more. Free parking available.

Stocking of items is improving with many items now available here that are difficult to find elsewhere. This is a great shop when you are looking for quality items.

A nice place to buy exquisite things. They have an impressive set of condiments. It's worth going there before cooking a special dish at home.

Yelp
This is one of those places where I would be a regular if I lived in Fortaleza. Empório Delitalia is a specialty supermarket and cafe; a good selection of produce, dry goods, bakery, and even takeaway meals, are complimented by it's cafe section that will give you a good feel for high society life in the city. Being as I am not a local, this review is intended for the cafe only. This very busy cafe offers a good selection for cafe da manha and almoço, with offerings such as omelettes, sandwiches, fruit and juice options, waffles, and the local favorite tapioca. Although service was a bit slow, and understandably so because of the morning rush, our food came out all together along with the drinks. We delighted over the excellent waffles with can't-go-wrong-Nutella, the omelette plate, and maracujá juice. Our highlight was definitely the tapioca filled with coconut and condensed milk. Not overly sweet and light, it was a perfect ending for a real solid breakfast, probably the best I've had in Brazil, and definitely the best in Fortaleza thus far. This is definitely a place worth trying, and grocery shopping too, if you want a taste of Brazilian life and it's many joyous offerings.
