As the supervising teacher for a school excursion involving students completing their Certificate III in Hospitality, I had the pleasure of staying at the Emporium Hotel. From the outset, the experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure both staff and students were well supported throughout our stay.||Our students were fortunate to gain hands-on experience across a variety of departments, including Café Belle Époque, concierge, the rooftop terrace bar, in-suite dining, and the pastry kitchen. In every area, the Emporium team demonstrated professionalism, care, and a genuine willingness to share their expertise in a nurturing and educational manner.||While all staff were outstanding, particular recognition must go to Bobby, who consistently checked in on the students and kept staff informed. His efforts to rearrange the room layouts to better suit the needs of our school group were greatly appreciated and made a meaningful difference to the success of the stay.||The rooms themselves were spacious, immaculately maintained, and lived up to the hotel’s five-star reputation. The in-house pastries at Café Belle Époque were another highlight – beautifully crafted and thoroughly enjoyed by all, with many of us attempting to sample the full selection during our short visit.||We are incredibly grateful to the Emporium Hotel team for providing such a memorable and enriching experience for our students, and we look forward to the opportunity to return in the future.
