Emporium Hotel South Bank (Brisbane, Queensland) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In Brisbane, much like London, the South Bank is home to some of the city’s finest cultural institutions and entertainment options. The Emporium Hotel South Bank, as a result, liberally mixes pleasure with business — the design is bold, the atmosphere is hopping, and the public spaces are lively as can be. There’s a rooftop terrace restaurant, a French bistro, and a classic piano bar, as well as the modern-Australian Signature. Meanwhile the suites are luxe and stylish in roughly equal measure, styled as “urban sanctuaries.” They’re glamorous spaces, many with far-ranging views over the river — though perhaps the best view is to be had from the rooftop infinity pool." - Tablet Hotels

I genuinely had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The valet team were exceptionally kind and truly stood out, always greeting us warmly and opening the car door each time for me. Our room was consistently immaculate upon our return, and any questions my partner or I had were met with a high level of professionalism and helpfulness. Everything we could have hoped for was provided, and more. Hats off to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable, we look forward to returning.

Emporium Southbank has been the best stay we have had for many years in Australia and ranks internationally excellent. From the brilliant design of the hotel, rooms and restaurants- with quality fittings everywhere. Beds like clouds. Bathrooms as bathrooms should be - spacious and well appointed. Service from the team from booking to leaving was so welcoming and attentive. Tom in the concierge team has been fab and always there. Sia on reception was so welcoming and knowledgeable. In recent years we have been disappointed with high end accommodation in Brisbane - no longer. Emporium is our new favourite place and we recommend it to everyone without hesitation. Brilliant.

Hands down my favourite hotel ever. My partner and I have stayed here twice now and it never fails to impress. The rooms are beautiful, room service is always great and the service is seriously top notch (thank you Nelson for all your help) Emporium had made Christmas such a special time for us. I loved the little chocolates provided and the stocking we found on our door on Christmas day! Thanks for the great stay as always :)

We booked a night at the Emporium Hotel in South Bank to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. To our surprise—and absolute delight—we were upgraded to a luxury suite in celebration of my birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture and instantly set the tone for a memorable stay. The suite itself was stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort you could imagine. The attention to detail was exceptional, uxurious furnishings, a gorgeous bathroom, and breathtaking views that made the entire experience feel extra special. We were also greeted with a lovely birthday treat, which added an extra touch of hospitality, the personalised note wishing me a happy birthday was outstanding. Throughout our stay, the staff were so friendly and hospitable, and so welcoming. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. We especially loved the rooftop infinity pool and bar, which offered an incredible atmosphere and views over Brisbane. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh options and excellent coffee. Overall, our stay at the Emporium Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. Being upgraded to a luxury suite made my birthday celebration feel even more special, and we’re so grateful for the thoughtful and personalised service.

Great hotel! Truly beautiful room and facilities! We also had a drink at the bar (Firma Bar) and were served by Xander and he really stood out to us! He was friendly, professional and clearly is very passionate about his job! He is a true asset to Emporium and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Made our honeymoon visit!

Stayed with my 18 yr old daughter. From the moment we walked in, we felt special. The staff member behind the desk and the lovely man who showed us to our room behind large double glass doors made us feel like we were already superstars! The room was spectacular, clean, and very spacious. The marble bathroom was incredible - best shower I’ve ever had! Went for a swim in the Infinity pool against that spectacular skyline - had drinks on the terrace then got ready and set off for Gaga (although secretly, we didn’t want to leave the apartment) We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

We stayed for two nights while on a trip in Australia. The hotel is absolutely fantastic. A real taste of luxury. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the south bank. The rooms are large, modern and have everything you need, including a little bar area in ours. The staff were super professional and helpful and we loved it. The roof top bar is amazing with excellent views, cocktails and food. My only complaint is that we purchased a bottle of wine In the hotel wine bar and within 5 minutes the manager closed the bar (at 6:30pm ) as he needed the member of staff to help on the rooftop bar at a private function. We were told we could drink our wine on the lobby. So that was disappointing. Other than that it was our favourite hotel during our trip down the Australian east cost.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at in Australia. The location was well situated in southbank, an easy walk to the lagoon and restaurants. |The rooftop bar was fantastic, and the cocktails were definitely better than the majority of cocktail bars I've been to before.|The double queen room was well sized, we didn't seem squashed with 2 adults and 2 kids.|The rooftop pool had great views, though was a little chilly with the winds blowing up there. The sauna and steamroom were also great, however, the gym was small and lacked some basic equipment.|We had an air-conditioning issue in our room. The staff were prompt to address it, and when it couldn't be fixed we were moved without hassle.
