Great shopping Centre. All sorts of fashion stores. Nice meal in their food hall upstairs. Fabulous choice of what you want to eat. Staff continuously clearing and cleaning tables and benches efficiently. Whole floor area pleasingly was very clean. Found food stall staff very friendly.

Modern shopping mall with branded stuff. You can find anything upon your request but little bit expensive and good quality. Even can find restaurants also to relax after doing shopping. Always crowded.

Probably the best place to shop if you have time to kill. So any choices with 3 more big shooing malls adjacent. Always a great place to find anything you are after.

Emporium Melbourne is a shopping paradise right in the heart of the CBD! The mall offers a perfect mix of high-end fashion, popular retailers, and unique local brands, all in a sleek, modern setting. It’s beautifully designed with spacious walkways, natural light, and a stylish atmosphere that makes browsing a pleasure. The food court is next-level—so many amazing dining options, from quick bites to gourmet treats. Super clean, well-organized, and conveniently connected to other shopping spots, it’s hands-down one of the best retail experiences in the city

Amazing parent and child room! Spacious with three private nursing rooms. Access to a parent and child toilet, microwave, two sinks and a cosy area for nappy change. Loved it!

Nice place to shop branded or other products. One can jump over to Myers or David Jones to get more choices for the shopping. If one gets tired of shopping there are plenty of places to satisfy your hunger.

Yelp
This is a HUGE shopping mall with what feels like too many stores (LOL!), mostly high end/expensive but there are some not so high end ones as well. This feels like a great place to people watch. We saw quite a few characters while we were in here and I'm glad I got to take a gander. We shopped in some of the stores but the items here aren't really for us. We're not high fashion, spend a lot on unique clothes type of people but if you are, this is the place for you! The layout is a bit confusing with escalators that don't keep going and up and down, being in different places but for the most part this place was easy to navigate. We ended up wanting to sit for a bit with a snack and, again, the food court is MASSIVE. From what I saw, you could probably get any kind of world cuisine in this place. There was so much to choose from.

Yelp
A beautiful shopping located in a mid city Melbourne , many stores to spend money to and nice coffee shops on every corner

Yelp
As an an overseas traveller i was absolutly horrified of the state of the Emporium, the shopping experiance was going well until we decided to go to the toilets and food court. The toilets have a smell of urine mixed with sewer water and you are greated by cockroach's as you sit down, the food court wasnt much better with those cockroach's running around the table.

Yelp
Great shopping but quite a few pricey stores. Flows nicely into Myers so in bad or hot weather you can wander from mall to Myers to mall and shop away a day.

Yelp
Man I tell you I'm from the states here visiting and the shopping mall here was huge I mean if u are here to shop be ready because there is a lot of walking to be done lol. But they have a lot of shops more than I was able to get to so if you are visiting I recommend this shopping mall.

Yelp
Beautiful, clean, modern shopping center with about four floors. There's lots of shops, a pretty nice food court with delicious looking options, and restaurants on the top levels. I would come back for the food court options or just to browse the shops.

Yelp
Visiting Emporium right now is a bit weird. It's very much a work in progress, so there's a lot of interesting shops opened, but equally as many boarded up promises of shops coming soon. It is definitely worth visiting the food areas though. The upstairs 'cafe court' has some stand out additions like Earl Canteen and Jimmy Grants...if only they had enough seating to cater for the volume of food they're churning out. The lack of seating makes it chaotic and a pretty unpleasant experience overall, even if the food is good. I actually find the new downstairs food court the way to go. 'Urban Kitchen' features a host of asian restaurants (Dumplings Plus, 1000 Watt, Ramen Ya, Pho Nom), each complete with their own seating so you can dine in without any issues. I look forward to seeing the new additions when they come in to make the shopping centre feel more complete and as far as Melbourne food courts go, these are easily the best ones in town.

Yelp
The Mecca for Capitalism. Emporium looks and feels amazing. They've done their research there. For me it just feels like an upmarket suburban shopping centre. That said, I can see that it would be a very handy place for city workers or people who are visiting from the country to shop as it has most well known stores in one place, Navigation, I found to be quite easy as whenever I felt a little lost I just used one of the many information touch boards to assist me getting to my destination. I'm glad I visited, but I prefer to try and give local businesses more of my custom these days.

Yelp
Emporiums pretty swish. Work in progress, but the potential is really there. This is not a quick stop shopping centre, the layout has been set out in such a way as to keep you there longer, this is really noticeable and would put me off coming for a super short trip. Saying that there is a vast array of both established and new names to cover all price points (including some great design brands). Great additions of the smaller food courts that are spread out across various levels (saving have to walk miles foe a cup of tea), as well as space for pop up stores. I guess this is a difficult one for me, I'm generally not a massive fan of shopping centres, this one has altered my judgement somewhat, but that might be the design of the building talking. Will be back to see how this space progresses.

Yelp
Bright, shiney and heavily staffed. An interesting selection of local and international brands. Bring the big generous bank account. With a lot of places still to open up this has a very European feel about it with the appropriate price tags. Loads of very friendly staff ready to help you spend the monies.

Yelp
The centre is visually stunning, sleek and modern to cater to some very disgurning shoppers. I think they've done an ordinary job with the escalators - no flow there making it totally confusing about where you go. But my main gripe - the upstairs food court is potentially the worst designed food court ever. Again, visually stunning, but the flow means there's a constant bottle neck of people around the very popular food outlets, making it impossible to navigate - let alone battle it out for a spot to sit. Hopefully the architects pick up on this and do something about it before it starts turning people away.

Yelp
Walking into the Emporium reminds me of Westfield's Sydney. It's great to see new stores along side some old names. The only thing lacking with this place is a decent food court that has sufficient seating. There's no point having great restaurants if you can sit to eat!

Hugh M.

Yelp
Well we're mostly there with this destination. I like the fact that it's broken up by the city streets, and whilst it has a vast expanse and multiple levels, it is easier to navigate than the very badly laid out chadstone. They have concierge desk spotted around, which I suppose is to help people find there way around. It looks deathly boring and I suspect the novelty will wear out. Lots of good options for clothes and shoes, and it has little mini food courts in a few locations rather than one main central one. Quite a lot of shops to be opened yet, but it's definitely getting there.

Yelp
Emporium reminds me of a lot of malls in Asia - given the relatively small footprint of the building, it has a distinctly vertical orientation with shops situated on numerous different levels. But the way it's laid out is a bit confusing, with escalators placed seemingly haphazardly and without any thought given to the natural flow of traffic (the cynic in me thinks this design is intentional, to force people to walk by as many shops as possible). There's a pretty good selection of international shops here to choose from - aside from the anchors UNIQLO and Topshop, there's also a Muji, Superdry and a lot of designer options. I really don't understand why there's a UCLA store here. (Why would you wear hoodies and sweatpants from a school you didn't attend? What's the appeal here?) The food court on the top floor has a great selection of stalls - Charlie and Co burgers, New Shanghai, Earl, Chinta Ria - serving up decent food at cheap prices. The problem is that, while the food court space is really interesting aesthetically, it's a bit dysfunctional. The layout with its curvilinear paths and oddly unnecessary steps creates bottlenecks when the place is busy and they didn't put in nearly enough seating to meet the demand. What were they thinking? Now that it's mostly full it's definitely more interesting than in its early days but I'm hoping they do something to improve the seating and layout issues in the food court.

Yelp
Clean open space shopping centre. I feel the similarity to Westfield pitt St Sydney. The future of shopping. Perhaps that would be a good by line... On the down side: another monolithic slab on concrete with more generic uber brands hocking expensive siht you don't need.

Yelp
The Emporium is Melbourne's newest shopping centre and it is HUGE! There are not many shops that I can think of that aren't actually in the Emporium, and it is across the road from Melbourne Central so you can't spend quite a bit of time (and $) shopping here. Excellent food court on the top level that is far nicer than your average one. There are also hair salons and nail bars should you need a rest from all that shopping!

Yelp
Unimpressed. Fancy shopping area. Not what I was looking for - we have plenty of these at home.

Connie B.

Yelp
Luxury shopping complex in the middle of the CBD. Many international brands are represented. It looks very stylish. Top notch food court. Helpful receptionists. Late night shopping on Thu and Fri. What's not to like?

Yelp
On this particular visit I wasn't impressed with emporium. I tried connecting to the wifi and it won't connect. Heading to the conceigre desk I was next in line yet they managed to serve two other people that managed to barged in. Maybe a better queuing system is needed!
