Neighbourhood spotlight: Phrom Phong, Bangkok - SilverKris

"A multi-level shopping complex in Phrom Phong prized by locals as an all-in-one retreat from Bangkok’s heat; favoured for its wide mix of shops, dining and conveniences, it’s often recommended as the place to ‘hide from the heat’ and to browse for everything from clothing to gadgets." - RC Owen

This mega mall is not only decked out with branded shopping items .Discover beautiful restaurants on the 6 th floor upwards, where one is surrounded by lush greenery of the Babylon hanging rain forest in the centre of the podium. Most of the high end outlets offer unique deco that is great for entertaining friends and family. So be prepared to pay more , as quality food n service is what you are paying for. Well go pamper yourself once in a blue moon, afterall you deserve it as have worked so hard. From gastro meals to yummy dessert, enjoy a lovely evening of Indulgence that is memorable with nature. Malls malls malls so many and all so beautiful. Easily connected with the tram and some hotels . Very very clean, not a speck of dust or trash. Just shows how advanced the Thais have become. No rowdy people all so civilized and polite readily welcoming guests whether we buy or not. All should learn from Thai people. Such gracious people.

This modern mall has an area with a small artificial waterfall and a spiral of plants between the floors, which is known as the indoor garden. To find this part, you need to go to Building A and go up to the 9th floor. The place is pretty, but in our opinion, it's nothing special. We don't think it's a must-see, but since visiting it is free, it's worth a quick stop to check it out if you're already at the mall. It's a pleasant spot to take a few photos.

⭐️ EmQuartier – modern, stylish, and lively 🌟 EmQuartier is a beautiful, modern shopping mall with a great mix of high-end brands, trendy cafes, and restaurants. The interior design is sleek and bright, making it enjoyable just to walk around. It’s a bit busy on weekends, but the atmosphere is vibrant and upscale — perfect if you’re looking for fashionable shopping and dining in Bangkok.

EmQuartier offers a variety of areas to explore, including shopping zones and multiple floors dedicated to restaurants. Personally, I often come here to dine because the atmosphere is pleasant and there are many dining options to choose from, suitable for both casual meals and special occasions. It’s a very convenient meeting spot with friends since it’s directly connected to the BTS Phrom Phong station, making it easy to get to without much planning. However, if you drive, traffic can be quite heavy in front of the building before entering, and parking is rather limited. You may need to drive up several levels to find a space, and sometimes parking in tandem is required, which can be inconvenient. Inside the mall, there are multiple elevators and different zones to explore, allowing you to change the atmosphere as you walk around. Overall, it’s a lively and versatile mall that works well for dining, shopping, or simply spending time with friends.

The shopping malls here are absolutely stunning. The facilities and the aesthetics are on a whole different level—you just don't see this kind of thing in Taiwan.

This is a beautiful & upscale mall in the busy & bustling Sukhumvit, Bangkok area. International brands & upmarket international dining is on offer. Luxury brands such as Rolex, Sephora, Valentino, MCM, Patek Philippe, Maison Kitsune, Gentle Monster just to name a few. Scattered around also are specialized stores & salons, as well as dining facilities, endless international & local bakeries, food court & Gourmet Market (supermarket). We visited this place quite a few times during our trip since it is located closest to our hotel. We loved discovering the many restaurants & bakeries, ate at the food court & restaurants - so good! We also managed to squeeze in a few sessions of spas & massages at the newly opened “Let’s Relax Spa” on the 4th floor. I also enjoyed a haircut at Moga EmQuartier Hair Salon & treatment within this mall. Really happy with their services indeed! All in all, this mall is wonderfully beautiful, clean & upscale we would love to visit again in our next trip to Bangkok!

EmQuartier isn’t just a mall — it’s practically a whole world under one roof! Our family spent an entire day there and never once got bored. First thing that blew us away? The lush green spaces: real trees, waterfalls, and even a tropical garden right in the middle of the mall — super unexpected in a big city like Bangkok! The kids especially loved the rooftop park (Hyde Park), where they could run around, play, and enjoy some fresh air. Shopping-wise, there’s something for everyone — from luxury brands to cute local boutiques. And the food scene? Huge! You’ll find everything from authentic Thai street food to cozy cafes and even vegan-friendly spots. We grabbed lunch at a restaurant with a gorgeous city view — such a nice treat! Everything’s super clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. There are kid-friendly play areas, spotless restrooms, and even panoramic elevators with amazing views. Whether you’re into shopping, dining, or just relaxing with the family, EmQuartier nails it. We’ll definitely be back!
