Loved this place. So peaceful in a beautiful setting. Sitting under the huge tree in the square was magical. |Comfortable room, good service. Breakfast was lovely with homemade Greek pies and cakes. Evening meals were also very good. |The Vitsa steps lead to the gorge. A challenging walk in the heat but very rewarding. Takes 30 minutes to walk down but 1hr back. The hotel has information about walks and drives to do in the area. Was one of our highlights of our holiday.

Booked in person, only to find a lower rate for the same room and date later on their own website. When I brought it up, I got vague responses and was told I should’ve booked online(!), which goes against what hotels usually recommend.|The checkout process wasn’t exactly straightforward in terms of billing formalities either...|If you enjoy haggling, opacity, and 90s-style service attitudes, this place might suit you. Otherwise, look elsewhere; there is much better in Zagori.

We stayed 4 nights in April having read about the hotel in a Guardian Newspaper article. Maria and her parents are extremely warm and welcoming. They gave us great advice on hiking in the local area which was invaluable. The hotel itself is spotless and comfortable. We really liked the home baking element of the breakfast. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful old fashion Greek Hotel. We stayed for two nights at the end of September, and this hotel,in a little Greek village is stunning, with the biggest Plane tree I've ever seen in the Square opposite the hotel. A small, immaculately clean taverna next door to the hotel serves home cooked meals by wonderfully friendly family members with a typical Greek warm atmosphere. If its on the menu, try the lamb in the oven with lemon sauce-divine!. Hotel staff were particularly helpful, when we discovered that due to our error, we had booked the wrong days. They found a room for us and just took it in their stride. Lots of places to visit within 20 minutes from the hotel.

Cold beer or wine under a big tree. Perfect view. I had to change the rewiev, beer is still cold but the food has to be better in Greece. Fries cannot be frozen when you have excellent greek potatoes. Also the potrions are small

Lovely Hotel with super friendly and helpful family owned this hotel and the room is clean with view of Zagori Mountains. You blend in to the natural with the 750-yr old tree and several signature trails nearby. The host of this hotel can be helpful with any natural activities you want to take, including the hiking tour guide and cooking class. You won’t be tired of the Mountains here and you will love people here too.

The staff was very friendly and warm and they offered us valuable guidance as to which places to visit in our 4 day trip. Breakfast was very good and every day local recipes were also added. The room was spacious and clean, but nothing extraordinary. The village where the hotel is situated is close to all worth visiting trails and Zagorochoria villages. I'd definitely go again.
