En Hostel & Bar

Had 2 nights stay in EN hostel in the private 2 bed bunk room. I had the pleasure of having the room to myself as there was no one else checking into this room. The room is simple with a table chair and fridge. However, it looks a little old as the walls are stained with marks. The toilet is clean and bright. They provide washing machine and dryer at a cost. If you are a light sleeper you may want to reconsider as footsteps can be heard in the room by people walking around. That night when I stayed, there were a large group of girls and boys staying and they were moving around throughout the night, even at 3+ am. I could hear the footsteps in the room. Location wise, it’s about 10-15 min walk from the station, not preferred if you are bringing many baggage and not driving.

The staff are beautiful and friendly. She sent a meg for me to remind the closing time is 8 pm. The room are large and clean. There are two washing machine and two every layer although I haven’t use. It is too near the JR station and walk 10mins. It has a large supermarket and Lawson near the hostel. The price is very cheap. If I come, I will stay again.

Personable staff, nice breakfast. Clean facility and up to date. Bit eerie at night in the dormitory halls. Also the beds were way to thin. It was uncomfortable night sleep for sure. Please update to softer, or thicker beds. It is taking away from the positives of the experience.

Seems like a new hostel to me, i'm not too sure when is the official open, but I was observing their wall paints and pipings, they all look clean and no stains for me. The toilets and washrooms are clean too. Walking a pilgrimage in Shikoku and in between temple 30 and 31 doesn't have much accommodations so i have to take a bus into Kochi city, this is one of the nearest and cheapest hostel. Female staff over the counter speak good enough english to communicate, didn't get to interact much becos i was to stay only for a night. Laundry for 300 and dryer for 100 yen if I remember correctly. Didn't get to eat the free breakfast becos i check out on a Sunday. No keys to return is just passcode to access doors and washrooms so it is very safe for mixed dorms.

We had a great stay! Rooms were just as described and the staff was phenomenal. They went above and beyond for us when we were in a bit of a pickle with our baggage. The location is convenient and there's a coin laundry conveniently located next door. We will definitely consider then again for when we return to Japan.

We were quite disappointed in this hostel. It's new and modern, but we felt we were paying more for a concept rather than a functional place to sleep for the price. The futon was very thin and could feel the bottom of the mattress board. There is a fee of 300 yen to rent a towel and the bare amenities are provided. The facilities were clean overall but overall we wouldn't book again.

The hotel is clean and has newly refurbished dorms. Staff is also very nice and helpful. Access is around ten minutes by walk from the main train station, which is not a big problem as the city is easily accessible by foot. The only things that really bothered me was that the main cafe/dining area was booked for events and other venues that took place on weekends. Unfortunately the guests were not able to use it during this times and had only limited access. Another one was that the bathroom and toilets are outside of the dorm and you have to get out of the building to a separate room. Still would recommend this place as there are not too many other options available in the town.

A modern and comfortable hostel. The staff member was very helpful and kind. The shower room was well kept and very clean. The dorm room was also very clean. The beds were large and comfy with personal charging places and a safe place to keep belongings. An amazing hostel.
