Enagron Cretan Ecotourism Village

Our stay at Enagron was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The setting is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by mountains, olive trees, and the peaceful rhythm of Cretan village life. Every detail reflects love and care: the beautifully rooms, the relaxed atmosphere, and the delicious farm-to-table meals — truly the most delicious food we had anywhere in Crete. Each dish was fresh, full of flavor, and prepared with such heart. One of the highlights of our stay was taking part in the traditional bread-making activity. It was such a wonderful, hands-on experience that connected us to the local culture — something we’ll always remember. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — kind, attentive, and always smiling. Enagron is more than just a hotel; it’s a place that celebrates nature, community, and the true essence of Crete. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of our return. This was a real find. All the staff were lovely. Excellent activities in site including cooking, farm tour and walks. The main pool is very nice but even better is the adults only spa area with several small pools placed on the hillside with amazing views. The restaurant is for the included breakfast and very atmospheric at night for dinner (excellent food at reasonable prices) We had room 81, lovely big terrace (perhaps missing a lounger or two) and the bed was very comfy. Good bathroom. Feels remote but only 30 mins from the main highway. Good walk up to the village too. Very relaxing experience!

What an incredible time we had at Enagron. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It really felt like they were a family. We had a fun time hiking to the shepherd’s house where we had a fantastic lunch and enjoyed the cooking lesson. The grounds were beautiful and the village was endearing. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing 😍 We went on a family holiday to Enagron and it was lovely! The food was amazing, well cooked and naturally sourced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a fairly small place but it makes it feel welcoming ! The rooms were nice we booked a room for 4 people and there was enough space, good bathroom and the beds are very comfy. The view is stunning throughout the village and there is gardens were they grow their own food. The pool area is beautiful and the water is lovely, you can sit at the edge of the pool and look out over the mountains. We will definitely go back!

So I was a bit suspicious that this would be a fake touristy type of place. I could NOT have been more wrong. This is the real deal! Such an amazing place in a beautiful fertile valley. Absolutely local owned and family operated. Cooking class was amazing - thanks Effie!:). Great rooms, very clean, nice pool and spa area is great. Will definitely be coming back to this gem again!!

Gorgeous location in the mountains, scenic views everywhere, no room has a bad view! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and fun to talk to! This village is an experience for all the senses, we loved our time here. The breakfast has lots of yummy treats, food coffee and that Greek yogurt is so yum! Dinner was never disappointing, very down home cooking and hearty meals. Great wine selections also. Efaristo to everyone at Enagron for their generosity, most especially Thomas, George and Nikolas.

The most peaceful and relaxing place to spend your holiday. Flowers, small hidden places and lovely pools all around. The service is outstanding - makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. The food that is local creatan is amazing! Rooms are clean and the beds are made to have a good, long night sleep.|We recommend Enagron - also a great place to visit with children.||The nearest little town Axos is okay and Anogia - cute and beautiful - is a little nice place, where to buy a few nice souveneirs.

This was a perfect place to relax and unwind from the busy life and just appreciate peace and and quiet. This was a unique and wonderful place, a family owned gem in the mountains. I loved the cooking class and botanical tour. The pools are amazing and the scenery is just spectacular. Will return for sure!
