What a treat to get to stay at Enagron! It was like a luxury camp. The buildings are beautiful and varied. We (four adults) stayed in a large suite with three bedrooms and two baths. It was comfortable and had gorgeous views. The gorgeous views are actually everywhere, here. The pool, the spa area are lovely. We ate every meal here for three days and the food was remarkable--local, fresh, as well prepared as any we had on our trip. We also took advantage of any class or hike that was offered while we were there and these were fascinating glimpses into life in these mountains. Andonis was an excellent and patient guide.|I would be thrilled to get to stay here again and I'm telling many people about this place.

We absolutely loved our holiday at Enagron. Everyone working there is so friendly and welcoming - they were especially lovely with our 3 year old. The location is beautiful and the food delicious. The pool was a bit cold for us (October) but the setting was wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner was good value. We will be recommending it to our friends.

Good location and family friendly. The heating system was shut down the first night so that the room was very cold (outside temperature 4-5*C) over night. After calling the reception in the night, due to the fact that we were freezing (with 2 small kids), we have been informed that this is a standard procedure and they didn’t want to give us the remote control for the air condition system. In addition, the electricity was also down almost the whole night. The second day we didn’t have warm water in the morning. However, the worst thing for us was the behaviour of the owner of the accommodation when we have informed her about our stay and the issues we faced with our room. She didn’t believe us answering in an unprofessional and unfriendly way being very rude and aggressive. All the other stuff was very friendly and helpful. Concerning the above mentioned issues we would have an understanding of the reaction of the owner would have been more polite and reasonable. This is the reason for the 2 star rating. We really hope that the owner is self-reflecting.

Fantastic place in the most beautiful surroundings. The management and all the staff are professional, friendly and helpful. As a swimmer I was able to use the fabulous pool before 10.00 at my own responsibility, which was heaven! The aroma of jasmine filling the air at 8 in the morning, vultures circling above, small birds chirping by the pool side. It really made my holiday there. I also had a massage with George which was excellent. I didn't get around to using the hydro massage area..... saving that for a future visit. Rooms are clean and the bed, pillows and bedding all high quality as are the towels. Wish I could have stayed longer!!

Did enjoy a lot our stay. Enagron is a place of tranquility. The surrounding is astonishing. The people running the place are extremely welcoming. The pricing is surprisingly good. Only downside have been the smell in our room and that the place isn’t that sustainable as we thought. For example they serve coca-cola which doesn’t fit in the attitude of local or organic products.

Everything about this place is amazing. The pace is very laidback. There are nice activities to do (recommend the cooking lesson!). This is rural but also very comfortable, including infinity pool with an amazing view on the local mountains and a good spa. The restaurant serves great local food at very cheap prices. The room is big and nice. The people are very friendly, both staff or guests. Incredible value for money overall!

Let's start from the top. The place is up in the mountains. So be prepared for a trip through some exciting mountainside roads that sometimes only accommodate one car at a time. Getting there is an adventure in itself, but well worth it. The rooms are great, Air-conditioned, clean and provide an authentic Cretan experience. The general vibe feels rustic with modern amenities. The pool is great for families with an infinity pool feel on one end to enjoy the mountain views. The mini bar offers cold and refreshing relief from the hot summer sun. Their adult only mini pools are both seclusive and offer respite from any noise. The restaurant had specials each night. We almost always went exclusively for these options which were always gracious in portion, flavour and uniqueness. The pricing at the restaurant is very fair, and portions generous. You must at least go on a Tuesday night when they have authentic Cretan musicians playing. There is no substitution for this authentic feel. The additional activities are great, although the option for making food from locally sourced ingredients is at a higher rate. The rest of the activities are fairly priced and worth the time. We'll be back in the future as these types of places are few and far between.

We loved our stay at the Enagron. The village is very beautiful. We joined the bonatical walk (one of the possible activities) and learned a lot of interesting things. The food is very good and the staff super nice.
