The resort is lovely. Beautiful, well-kept grounds with easy access to the lake (you can walk and/or they have golf carts to get you around); relaxing setting; comfortable, clean, and quiet rooms (aside from hearing the neighbor enter and close their door around 11pm); family-friendly (little playground/play area for kids, pools, bounce house); and affordable. ||||Great service at reception and around the property (those driving the golf carts, for example). Easy to book a boat ride to Crescent Island (highly recommended) as well. ||||Only negative was the Coffee Lounge--the a la carte restaurant. (We opted out of half or full board because, with our toddler, we didn't want to be locked into set eating times.) The food was okay (nothing to rave about, but serviceable, and the fruit platter was lovely), and the prices were low, but the service was hit or miss (we ordered one omelet, for example, without sausage or bacon, but it came out with sausage in it--after too long of a wait to want to have them make a new one, so it went uneaten and was only taken off the bill when we pointed out that it wasn't what we ordered). ||||Great location, rooms, and resort service. Improvement needed in the Coffee Lounge.
