Encantes Inn Northeast

Beautiful property! Lots of greenery all around, Good selection of breakfast, there is a lovely river side restaurant at the back. Rooms are clean, with toiletries and towels, Air Conditioning, nice little pool with a bar. There is a self service kitchen with microwave and tea, coffee making facilities. Helpful staff. Only improvement - there are no dedicated porters and there are good amount of stairs to access the rooms. The helpful receptionists help in carrying the bags but in mornings when they are busy with check outs, takes a bit of time for them to turn up.

We booked 2 rooms at this Pousada. The service is excellent, they provided support when needed, and had beautifully presented rooms. One of the rooms we had felt a little small, but nevertheless, the swimming pool and Pousada were luscious, and allowed a relaxing stay. The breakfast was perfect, and so was the environment bustling with nature. A pleasant surprise.

Nice hotel, charming, lots of green. Rooms could be more inviting, they are a bit boring.||Ok breakfast buffet but no lunch or dinner at the hotel, forcing you to go to the only nearby restaurant which is average at best.||This hotel is ok for staying just one night as part of a longer trip.

Traditional Brazilian pousada with breakfast and little cottages. The cottages have shower bathrooms, air condition and TV. A hammock and a little veranda outside makes the cottage cosy. The pool area, gardens with local plants and trees are all well maintained. The breakfast consists of local specialties, cakes, fruits, juices, coffee and scrambled eggs. Special orders are possible.||It was a pleasant stay and I can really recommend this place. Check out my photos.

Very nice small resort located at the river Preguiças. ||||Each room is a chalet, nicely decorated with local crafts and comfort for a family of 3-4. ||Inside the Pousada is tidy, clean and with nice gardens that leads to a small pool. ||||The breakfast area is typically decorated and rich with several options of fruits, breads, cakes, local culinary and fresh juices, as most locations in Brazil.||||Positive impressions. And most important: no mosquitos bites during sleep!. If you plan to come, bring lots of anti-moskito spray.||||Only negative remark: the restaurant is quite far-300 m walk from out chalet. In the dark can be quite an adventure but they have own shuttle service. Food is great and richly served. You can order one dish for 2 and you still have left overs.||||Barreirinhas is the portal to several trips in Lençóis.

The street to arrive in the posada is not the best and give an bad impression. The city is typical brasilian country village, with no rules about driving and special at nightime you will find cars, motocycles without lights, children that walk on dark streets... so pay attention.|You will find in the area an big hotel but the best way to stay is to be more in contact with the nature. So Encantes do Nordeste is a clean posada with many huts and an tropical garden. An nice breakfast is served near the pool area and they have an nice restaurant on the riverside at 200 meters of the posada. The staff are friendly and can organize all the tours with pickup at the posada. Rooms are ok, more bigger that in many hotels and comfortable with quiet air condition. For the region that's are really high standards. Only 2 remarks.|Wifi works only at the reception area! Why they not put extenders to serve the huts is a mistery, todays cost for that will not be more that 200$. Swimming pool, despite the pictures, is in really small. You must have an trip of 2 hours to go swim at the sea... so why they dont make an bigger swimming pool? They have in the garden an area big like an football stadium.

The Encantes is a very charming hotel by the river. It is a bit far from the city centre, which is the only downside since you can't walk to any other restaurant than the one linked to the hotel. On the other hand, it's very quiet. Rooms are cosy and very clean. Air conditioning and shower work perfectly. Every chalet has got its hammock to relax. Breakfast is nice, with plenty of choice. Staff is very friendly and helpful, even if they don't speak English. Wifi works only in the reception and in the relaxing area nearby. I would definitely go back!

I do recommend Encantes do Nordeste. It is a very charming place to stay with a very nice structure compared with the other options in the city. I would guess is one of the best places to Stay in Barreirinhas. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bath is OK and the breakfast is amazing. The price is not cheap but is not expensive as well. I paid something like R$300,00 per night. The manager Kessya gave us an great attention. She was very helpful with information, tours and transfer we needed. Thanks for that, Kessya!
