Pros: great views, close to the main strip in Acapulco, kids allowed Cons: this is an expensive 5 star hotel & yet nothing about staying here feels high end. It’s one of those hotels that instead of taking care of you just tries to scam you at every corner. Be aware that on top of the cost of your room, at check out they charge a daily service fee that is not advertised when you book your room. I’m not sure what the service fee is for since the service is terrible. Especially the receptionist. The beds only come with one papery sheet. We were freezing cold & asked for blankets & they brought us 1 more sheet. They charge you extravagantly for water. I get that it’s a hotel. But it’s just purified water they charge you for, not even bottled water. They serve the water in a glass water bottle that has been resealed BUT you can tell it’s old & refilled with purified tap water because the paint is chipping off the water bottle. The food is really average, but extremely expensive. Expect to spend about 100 USD at each meal for 2 people & still leave hungry. We stayed in one of the villas & honestly didn’t feel very safe. There is a road that goes behind the villas & nothing to stop anyone from the road to climb up on your patio. The lock on our door also didn’t work properly. As the dump truck was moving around the neighborhood below our villa smelled like trash for 1 hour. Staying here just really isn’t worth the price. A better, cheaper option with better views, service & food in Banyan Tree Cabo Marques.

fantastic architecture that transforms itself every day through exciting and convincing plays of light and makes every sunrise and sunset a spectacle! i don't know of a more beautiful place! the view of the sea and acapulco from the pool couldn't be better! the hotel's friendly service and the culinary variety make our vacation time even better! thanks to the entire team!

Encantó Hotel was everything and more! I could not recommend this hotel enough. My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to relax and disconnect and we definitely came to the right place.. The facilities are so beautiful and architecturally so well thought out and designed. The pool and lounge beds are so comfortable and where we spent most of the day. The staff at breakfast, the pool and restaurant for dinner were so professional, attentive and kind. Jose Miguel at the pool provided some of the best service I’ve had since moving to Mexico…. The views from the rooms and especially from the spa are breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back for another trip to Encanto.

Unfortunately our experience didn’t match our expectations. It was our 4th time staying at this location and they still have water availability issues in the rooms as well as the fact that they didn’t honor the 3.00 pm check in policy. All of this with only a “sorry for the inconveniences”. Very low standards for what they charge.

WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EXPERIENCED!!! They never answer, they don’t give you any solutions or attend your needs. For the high status they should offer better response to their costumers. Even a holiday inn has better costumer service than this hotel.

Luis and Alberto went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our dining experience a pleasant one. I would definitely come back to experience their superb service. Food was also top notch. Definitely a must try

We wanted to stay in Fiesta Americana, but it was totally booked. Disappointed, we looked around and found Encanto. It does not fit into the 5-star rankings. Located above the ocean |In the lush tropical forest and has great views. Only 45 rooms, all with balconies facing the water. Built in 2010, it has very modern open design. Great pool and all other amenities and services, including a cinema. Very good restaurants (2) both on terrazas. In the Magreb (Morocco etc.) there are 5-star hotels and there are riads that are way above the usual rankings. |Our butler Amado was very helpful too. |Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Following the hurricane, almost every hotel in Acapulco and Playa Diamante are severely damaged and closed. Yet, in only a few weeks Encanto is open, fully operational and awesome. Wendy, the receptionist, Eliana the manager and all he staff are professional. We are returning for Easter. Bravo to Encanto and all of the staff.
