Enochs Fish & Chips (Junction)

Not worth the price! We stopped off here as it was the top rated chip shop in the area, I’ve no clue why people have rated it so highly. We waited over 30 minutes for fish and chips, and also sausage and chips. My main concern being the price they are charging for the portion of food. I have seen bigger children’s meals than what we were served. My sausage and chips was £11 and the fish and chips was around £15. Extortionate prices. Cost us £32 including two drinks. The only good thing was that the food was hot and tasted really good. Complained to staff about wait times and portion size but did not receive a discount, just a few more chips. Don’t believe every good review you see

This was definitely among the best fish and chips I’ve had. I was visiting Conwy on holiday and came across Enochs by chance, it turned out to be an amazing find. The spicy fish was especially tasty, with a flavourful batter and really fresh fish. The whole team was lovely, and the lady who served us was so warm and welcoming. The place had a great vibe, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Conwy.

Had fish and chips here - overall very good! The fish was fresh and nicely cooked, though I personally would have liked a bit more salt or seasoning as it was quite plain. Chips were tasty and the staff were very friendly, which made the visit pleasant.

The menu is miscellaneous, many types of fish & chips, burgers. I rate this place 10/10. Spicy fish strips and prime hake fillet are spot on 🤌🏽. Next time I'll give it a try for the plaice fillet 🤠. Good service and the staff is very friendly. Dine in or takeaway and one parking space in the front up to 90 min 👍🏽

Excellent. I enjoyed a seafood platter which was actually a starter but was so filling and we had the kids meal which was very generous and included a drink and ice-cream. A double sided colouring page to keep the wrigglers happy. Service was fast and friendly. The menu highlighted dishes that donated to sea fishing sustainability charities with every sale. The branding was fun, modern and enjoyable making the seating area feel more upper class than a usual chippy. The drinks choice was also superior. Personally I don’t like the usual soft drinks I find them way too sweet but was pleased to enjoy a Dalstons rhubarb soda. The salt supplied on the tables was local producer Helen Mon Sea salt from Anglesey. Takeaway also available.

Absolutely love this chippy. It's only a short walk away and I come often as the prices are quite reasonable. The food quality has never been bad and id always tasty. The atmosphere is also really nice and service is quick, though it can sometimes be slow during peak hours, but it's worth it. Tip: Download the Too Good to Go app for sausage and chip meals for £2 (I do this often) Overall this place has very good food and is worth the price.

What a wonderful fish and chip shop in Llandudno Junction. I took my friend for lunch. She particularly likes plaice in batter which is not always easy to find, as it’s often only offered pre-prepared in breadcrumbs. I checked with Enoch’s the previous evening and they promised to keep a piece of plaice for her to be prepared as she likes it - they obviously use fresh fish and prepare it to order. My friend was delighted - as you can see the portion was massive, the batter light and crispy, and the chips well cooked, firm on the outside, fluffy inside - perfect! Being greedy I asked for a second “bucket of chips” and that came free of charge as promised on the menu. The serving staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. All in all a great experience for both of us. Thank you.

As an East Yorkshire man I love a well cooked Haddock with a light crispy batter. Being From Hull once the biggest fishing port in UK I can say that it's difficult to find a really good chippy outside Yorkshire (bias implied) But I have to say Enochs Fish and chips restaurant is one of the best I've been to ! They have a large selection of fish dishes from traditional buttered to parchment oven baked fish . We even had a Thick milkshake & some monkey fingers For pudding The service is friendly & has a family feeling too. I highly recommend a visit. My Haddock was cooked to perfection with no grease left on the plate either, you can ask for extra chips if you need any we didn't but the offer was there . Overall fantastic food great service. We will be back

One of the best fish and chips I have eaten! The fish is fresh and tender on the inside. Its crispy exterior does not feel greasy at all. The chips have the right amount of softness. I'm usually not into mashed peas but the ones here look and taste so good that I polished them off. The decor and service are also appealing. Would strongly recommend coming to this place.

I've been going to Enochs on and off for about thirty years and not much has changed in that time. This is very much a compliment rather than a criticism as what you get here is a very traditional and top quality fish and chip shop. As they say 'if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it'. There's the choice of either takeaway or you can eat in the small dining area. Unfortunately there are no scenic views on offer but you can always watch the cars going by on Conwy Road. The emphasis here is on using good quality ingredients which are well prepared. There's a decent choice of food available, although there are no real surprises, but whatever you opt for you shouldn't leave disappointed. If you like your fish and chips you won't go too far wrong here. The shop is located in Llandudno Junction which is about four miles from Llandudno itself and is a short (if steep) walk from the railway station.

Best chippy in the Llanduno Junction/Conwy area. Chips look delicious and are very tasty, but are so incredibly filling, that they can prevent you from getting on with the rest of your meal! Plenty of choices of fish on the menu, including Cod, Hake, Haddock, Plaice and Mackerel. All of these are cooked to order, as in most other 5* chippys, apart from the cod, which is unfortunate, as they don't look so appetizing sitting in the hotplate. Nevertheless, they always taste good, but are smaller fillets than other outlets and sometimes the batter can be a bit too greasy. Customer service is outstanding when eating in the restaurant but only satisfactory in the takeout area. If you are not eating in or don't have a car, there's a small clearing with a few benches, a stone throw away from the chippy if you are looking for somewhere to eat outside. EDIT :- Quality has declined recently in my opinion. Chips are often cold and the fish has been getting smaller and more greasy too. Disappointing, so I won't be returning for some time.

Simply the best fish and chips I have eaten, even after trying all the award winners in the annual national competition, Enochs is my favourite so far. Everything was perfectly cooked, staff were friendly, everything looked clean. I will certainly be revisiting Enochs when im next in the area.

Enoch's is a classic fish and chips restaurant. I have visited this restaurant several times, and the fish is always fresh and deliciously prepared. There is a standard menu plus a blackboard menu featuring several fresh catch specials, though I typically get the breaded fish with chips and mushy peas. Always excellent.

Always get served fantastic, tasty food in Enochs, it has been the same for over twenty years, never a bad thing to say about the place.
