A truly heavenly place in Crete! I am so glad we chose this hotel among all the others. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. Not only because everything is spotlessly clean and the food is absolutely delicious, but also because of the unique atmosphere created by the people who work here. I always pay attention to these things – how responsibly people approach their work, how they interact with each other, and of course, how they treat their guests. From the very first step at the reception, you are embraced by a sense of calm. Yesterday at dinner we had a lovely conversation with one of the waiters, and he said: “because free means stress-free as well.” That was truly the best answer, and it sums up the whole experience perfectly. Staying here is nothing less than completely stress-free.

A lovely hotel. We had two rooms, a superior and double. Both were spacious and very close to the communal pools. Good size balconies. |Pools never busy-even at this time of year. Cleanliness in and outside of hotel was extremely high level. |Half board-food was tasty, of a good variety and plentiful. |Beach area lovely and again , not crowded even in Aug. Beach bar offers food and drink. |Myself and daughters had facials in the on site aegeo spa. What a treat. Gorgeous treatments and my therapist Antonia was a miracle worker :-) |Location is just a few Km from the town itself. Taxi 7 euro. |Staff throughout the hotel-reception, porters, pool attendants, domestics, reception-all extremely helpful and professional. |Would recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a superior room with individual pool with wonderful views across to Lerapetra and the hills behind. The hotel is beautiful, extremely relaxing and the staff are superb - they felt like our family by the end of our trip! The beach is literally on the other side of the road, with a clever underpass to access and if you feel like a wander, Lerapetra is a 20min walk along the same road. We can’t wait to go back and have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel for quiet relaxation, chilled atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. Booked a Superior Private Pool - upper floor. The room was OK, but certainly not superior, in my opinion. Room 301. Pool - needs attention and the way positioned, directly facing car park with no "obscured glass" open to all to see everything - no privacy - quick easy fix - "obscure the glass frontage"! Provided was "bean bags" and no sunbeds?? Bazar. Bathroom needs good "steam clean" despite the "housekeeping team" doing their best, this needs something beyond daily cleaning. Had some issues with members of the team, seems like some members, dont want/should not be there. Housekeeping team, Silvana and Angoles ( sorry for the incorrect spelling) are very customer focused and positive, with a warm welcome. Food good. No atmosphere and lacks "soul" Cannot recommend this hotel, very little positives.

There is an unpleasant sewage smell in the hotel, and when I woke up in the morning, I felt like I was in a cheap Egyptian hotel. I went down to the reception to report that the air conditioning in the room doesn’t work, the terrace door cannot be properly opened or closed, there’s no water pressure in the shower, and only hot water comes out! The lady at the desk, with a blank expression, kept repeating just one thing: someone will come to fix it at 8 a.m. Nobody came. Just as the guests before me had already mentioned, no one deals with your problems they simply don’t care. When we arrived, they told us a welcome drink of champagne was waiting. What we got was sparkling wine instead. That’s exactly how the whole hotel feels you expect champagne, but end up with cheap bubbly. I feel the hotel is a bit overpriced and overrated for this amount of money, you can enjoy yourself much better anywhere else, and maybe the staff won’t even dislike you.

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet area of Crete. A 20mins walk into the nearby fishing village/ town of Ierapetra or €7 in taxi. ||The staff at hotel were superb. Especially Andriana, Stellios and Georgia in the Sea Breeze Pool Bar, who looked after us and kept us hydrated.||The hotel is beautifully quiet and faces onto a beach. Because of its location, there is a permanent breeze running through the bar and pool area, which is heavenly. This area of Crete is clean and felt very safe. There are no loud nightclubs or people pulling you into bars every 10 seconds. Outside of the hotel the restaurants were inexpensive and good quality.

Worst hotel experience in Crete – avoid if you have a baby or mobility issues We stayed in 3 hotels during our trip to Crete, and we visit Greece twice a year – this was by far the worst experience. The hotel is absolutely not suitable for parents with a baby or anyone with reduced mobility: steep slopes, stairs everywhere (bar, restaurant, beach). We booked a sea view room as shown in the photos, but got a noisy room facing the main road, with constant traffic and hotel staff passing. They dared to say it was “better for a baby.” No baby cot was provided – just an unsecured sofa. How is a 5-month-old supposed to sleep on that? We asked for a change – they said “we’ll call you tomorrow.” No one called. Worse: they claimed they called the room while we told them we’d be out. Result? Wasted our time and ruined our day. They don’t know how to manage anything. No apology, no empathy, just “that’s how it is.” This is not a premium hotel, just a polished facade with poor service. If you have a baby or mobility needs – do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
