Truly authentic absolutely first class Italian pasta and antipasto, top quality local wines and desserts. Service was impeccable allied with a fabulous understanding of English. Mostly an Italian crowd but we didn't feel out of place. If you are nearby make it a destination.

Enoteca della Valpolicella was our favorite place to eat during 3 days in the area. Food was very fresh and super tasty – best we had on our trip. They have nice wine list, and staff helped us choose good wines to go with food. Very friendly people and cozy place. We would come again for sure!

Simply excellent! Food quality, wine selection, service - all top level. Would skip many highly rated places and come back here again Don’t miss if you have the chance!

I will dream of this pasta for the next months. It was so good that we had to return on our last day in Italy and have exactly same pasta once again. Best food experience we had in Valpolicella!

Google
Amazing hospitality! We were tempted by so many interesting dishes but worried we couldn't finish them all. They proposed half-portions for each dish, which was perfect! I forgot to snap a photo of the tagliatelle con porcini, but the timing of each dish, despite the crowd, was impeccable. As for the food, as you can see from the pictures, of course absolutely fantastic!

Google
Amazing service, remarkable wine knowledge, impeccable food. We had my parents' 20th anniversary dinner here and do not regret it. The restaurant was filled with both locals and tourists. The atmosphere was on another level. I definitely recommend!

Best pasta we’ve ever had…. The ragu, ravioli… wow… so light yet so aldente. Incredible, would love to come back.

Yelp
Pretentious, underwhelming and to be avoided at all costs. Think Disney world of Italian served by inattentive hipster douches. Our menu was disappointing. Our server was awful. Paying the bill was an exercise in self restraint.

Yelp
We spent a wonderful day in Verona and exploring some of our favorite wineries in valpiocella. Our tour guide at one of the wineries recommended this restaurant and it was an awesome recommendation, the best meal we had while in northern Italy! The food menu is fresh and constantly changing so instead of having a printed menu they tell you what they have for the day. Also the wine list is hand written as it changes as well, the wine list is very fairly priced as we ordered the amarone for 10e BTG. I have a gluten allergy and were great at accommodating my food allergy. They substituted gluten free pasta for my main dish. We had three small appetizers including some of the softest, most delicious salami I have ever had. Each appetizer was coursed out so the lunch takes at least an hour, but we told them when our next winery appointment was and they timed out the food perfectly! We loved this place so much we wanted to come back for dinner! Definitely go here when you are in the area!!!

Yelp
We had high expectations for thsi restaurant currently listed as the best restaurant on several websites. On arrival our waitress told us there was the a la carte option (written menu with prices) and the tasting menu. The tasting menu seemed a bit confusing as our waitress did not tell us the amount of dishes and how many of each. No price mentioned either. When we asked we found out it was 5 dishes. After asking if it was four savory and one dessert we found out the dessertg is not inc in the tasting menu....... So we got off to a bit of a rocky start. My wife said she was pregnant and that of course the burrata dish was not an option. The waitress then suggested the cured coldcuts/salami!? Dont want to be to hard but a waitress on our homeland must know what to people with dietary needs or beeing pregnant can eat or not. Then we asked if they had a alcoholfree beer as my wife cant drink alcohol while pregnant. The answer? "No we are a bit puritan and only offer wine and water" So......If you cant drink wine, your option was water. Nice! We also asked for soda but was answered "We might have juice but no soda as my mother thinks its not good"....... Wow. The food was "ok" but nothing memorable. Especially not paired with water as was the case for my wife. I had a good value Felsina Chianti from 93 so it was not as bad for me. I will say they have a great winelist at decent prices so winelovers will find plenty to drink. We found the food to be better at Osteria No 1 just a couple of km away and will not be coming back, even when we both can drink wine. Its just nothing special in our opinion that would get us back.

Yelp
We came here not knowing anything about the place, with a reservation made through the Masi vineyard down the road; the guy had asked me: "do you want pizza or something else?". I said: "Something else", and that's how we came across this fantastic restaurant. Staff and service is superb, the setting is beautiful and the food very very well cooked (perfect!).

Yelp
Great place, off the beaten track but so worthwhile if you want great food in an unpretentious setting with great Valpolicella wine; we first bought wine from the winery next door and then sat down for a great lunch; we had wonderful wine, too, plus super tastings of the freshest ricotta cheese, little ravioli made that morning with truffles, truffles with a fried egg, a carpacio and another salami appetizer, then a pasta with mushrooms. We had no room for dessert; the only glitch is that the bread in Italy is awful; made from white flour; the bread in the US is now actually better. Isn't that insane but this place is terrific and affordable and loveliest staff, and filled with ZERO Americans. We'd go back in a heartbeat if we could afford another trip! GO! And avoid the bigger cities for sure.
