Ensana Grand Margaret Island Health Spa Hotel

Beautiful setting and lovely building. Feeling of calm and relaxation from the minute we arrived. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The hotel is beautiful with an old style grandeur. Our room (280) was spacious and comfy. Complimentary water was welcome. The fridge seemed very old and didn't seem to be very cold. The toilet flush system seemed to be a little problem ( the short flush caused the system to constantly run so you had to push the big button to stop the constant water flow). The towels seem very thin and tired. One day the bath towel was even frayed at the edges with a hole in it. Decor a bit tired. Other than that our room was very comfy. Breakfast was very good. I used the thermal pools one day. Very nice.

This is my third time staying at Grand Margaret Island. Although my room was a little smaller this time, having the balcony with a beautiful view of the water tower made up for the size of the room. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast is superb, with a wide selection for every palate. The körözött is my favorite! The spa area is delightful and because the weather was so nice, I was able to take in the sun deck area as well. I highly recommend this hotel. You cannot beat the location. And while the hotel is not modern, the charm and the service make up for this. I look forward to coming back again and again..

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms are ancient and fascinating! And extremely spacious!! We had such a great time in the relaxing thermal baths and the staff all over ghe hotel was so friendly! The beautiful surroundings of this outstanding island just add to the relaxing vibe! We enjoyed every minute and regretted we hadn't booked for a longer stay! We will definitely return!!

The experience was amazing. From the beginning to the end. Easy navigation to book, options regarding rooms clear. Warm welcome by professional staff who were knowledgeable. The room was clean, airy and big. The spa centre also very welcoming, clean and many choices. Breakfast in a nice big room with lots of varieties regarding food. Location also really good with many options for leisure or drinks / food within the island.

Nice hotel, easy to access by bus. It made me go back to a time I never knew with its vintage charm. The bed was very comfortable and spacious enough for a couple. A lot of space to put our stuff. We can also decide if we want the cleaning staff to come in or not everyday. We enjoyed our stay but we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness, the ACs at the pools were full of dust as well as some items in our room (lamps), we felt like the grout in the pool was a bit moldy as well ? Otherwise amazing employees, the food was nice and had a lot of variety even tho it’s more targeted for people who like salty and meaty foods in the morning.

Absolutely loved our stay! The thermal spa was the highlight—beautiful pools, saunas, and steam rooms that left us feeling totally refreshed. The room was spotless and stylish, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Great food, peaceful atmosphere, and top-notch service. Perfect for a relaxing getaway—we’ll definitely be back!

Our room was beautiful, with lovely views over the Danube. The reception area, dining room, and terrace were all lovely. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location is excellent. The spa facilities in the neighbouring Thermal Hotel were clean, lovely, and relaxing. ||But most of all, the staff were all fantastic. They couldn't have done more to make us welcome and comfortable.

The hotel and the spa were clean and calm. We have slept very well. They could add some variety of food in the spa. We would come back again. Take good care of your plates at breakfast or they will take them away!
