Ensenada Motor Inn & Suites

This little hotel is a GEM just a short hop from the beach. It is a two minute walk to the middle of everything - but is still set away from the hustle and bustle of Mosely Square (and the screaming of children on the beach) The rooms are more than comfortable. The staff is amazing! I have to give a shout out to Sam at the front desk! He was so helpful and just a really bright spot in our time in Glenelg. He was happy every time we saw him and really did brighten our day!!

The room was very clean the bed was comfortable. The service was good. The parking is good. The hotel is situated in a good place right near the restaurants and close to the beach. Watching the sun raise and sun set is magnificent especially over the water.

Room was very clean..small but adequate, comfortable bed and modern bathroom..very quiet. Ideal location a few steps to Moseley square, shops, restaurants and beach...had overstocked mini bar and snacks all too expensive to use...usual tea and coffee supplies, cups, glasses and plates but no cutlery or tea towel. Had to stir tea with finger. Kettle was way too big to fit under the vanity tap, had to fill with the shower It's these little things that make or break a great stay...returning?...no.

I look for comfort of bed, plenty of pillows, and cleanliness-passed easily! Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided, also Microwave, kettle, tv. Plenty of storage, ironing board and an umbrella! Bathroom is clean, towels and toiletries provided daily. Housekeeping were brilliant, friendly, kept the room very clean. Cant fault our stay at all, will definitely be staying and recommending the Motel.

It was okay for the price. The bed was incredibly bouncy with springs a bit pockey, and pillows were slim bricks - so, not a great sleep. Sheets were good clean linen, but towels smelt sour. As it's going to be demolished, I feel care is lacking - bin out at the back stairs was not emptied in the week we were there, and windows and curtains could do with a wash... they may not bother.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Their service is appalling and disgusting and totally lack understanding - I booked a self contained suite directly on their website and paid the deposit - when I received the confirmation, I replied to confirm what I booked and received an email to say that I had booked a normal "executive" room - with food allergies, I have to cook my own food and so I am diligent about where I stay so I am also very careful-when I make bookings. So when I called to find out why, I was told it was I who had made the mistake and when I tried to cancel and get a refund, I was told that they will not be refunding my $272.00 deposit - this is not legal. What a truly horrible experience. If their reception staff are this way, you can only imagine the type of establishment this really is - their location is the only positive they have going for them. I will be taking this further - much further !!!!!!!!!!

Staff were incredibly helpful, even going so far as to call me late in the evening the night I booked our stay when they saw I was travelling with a toddler, to see if we had a portable cot or if we required one. The rooms are immaculate and located so close to the main street in Glenelg, perfect walking distance. Next time we visit we will definitely choose to stay here again.

This is the second time around I have stayed in as many months. Everything you need, microwave, kettle, free WiFi. Customer service is A1. Ready to help you in anyway they can. The second visit (still here for couple more weeks) was a different room and had not been cleaned thoroughly after previous guest left. I do understand there are time limits involved in servicing rooms but should extend the time allowed to do a deep clean before it's safe to rent out again. Other than that everything was well executed.
