During a recent visit to Enso Bar Restaurant, we ordered the seared yellowfin tuna steak with vegetables and the piccata Milanese. While the dishes were neatly presented, the overall experience left much to be desired.
The tuna steak was cooked adequately and accompanied by a small portion of vegetables. However, the flavours were basic and lacked any distinctive or memorable qualities. Fortunately, I had ordered a side of fries, though these were unfortunately undercooked, which further diminished the meal.
The piccata Milanese followed a similar pattern—simple and inoffensive, but far from remarkable. In both cases, the portion sizes were extremely small, resembling more of a tasting portion than a proper main course.
With such minimal servings and unexceptional flavours, the restaurant struggles to offer value for money. The limited menu also restricts choice, making it unlikely to appeal to those seeking variety or a more satisfying dining experience.
To make matters worse, the prices are quite expensive for what is ultimately a very basic and underwhelming offering.
