【 Coucou de Tokyo 】 This is an amazing restaurant in Le puy. I love this place/food and most of all, the owner of the restaurant. She is the best!! (She is like "Dola" from the movie "Castle in the sky", I personally think of her)

I had a really good experience in a really typical restaraunt from Le Puy-en-Velay. The waitress was very nice and explained about the meat Fin Gras du Mézenc (mountains on the east part of Haute-Loire region). I invite you to go there and discover. The relation between quality, experience, atmosphere and price is really fair for french reality. Just ask for the day (plat du jour) and there you go,a good experience. The dessert was also good, made by the restaurant itself

Very bad experience. The owner only cared about the guests frequently visiting the place. We ordered Plat de Jour + fromage as dessert. We waited more than one hour for the Plat de Jour to be served - low to very low quality. Later we waited more than 1 1/2 our to have a plate with two pieces of cheese - nothing else on the plate. We asked for the bill and again we have to waite and others, who ask for the bill later than us, were serviced in front of us. Totally we were at the restaurant 3 hours and 40 min. The service and the quality of the food does in no way match the price. I can in no way recommend this place.

We had a fabulous meal. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and the chef a delight.

Excellent homemade kitchen! Absolutly to recommend! I ate the meal of the day. That was fish with a sauce of butter and lentil as vegetables. It was delizious! Including a homemade dessert and water and white wine I paid 15,70 Euro. Your should definitly try that location!
