Right off the bat, the guy with glasses at the front desk was very unwelcoming and frankly, frustrating. I let him know that I do have my service dog, which is a 15lb very small dog who doesn't make a peep. Immediately the guy at the desk is arguing with me about how I have to pay the pet fee, despite that being against FEDERAL ADA regulations. He argued and insisted that "because other people lied in the past" that I have to pay for my service animal.
That is illegal. Not only is it illegal, it's frustrating and discouraging that they're trying to scam $25/night off me for a dog that is equivalent to medical equipment.
It made the entire stay extremely stressful and uncomfortable.
Moldy AND dirty bathroom. Stained shower curtains, nasty smudged windows. (Pics below)
The staff is standoffish, the elevator REEKS of cigarettes and weed, but is still somehow preferable to the hallways that reek of cat piss and cigarettes. Sketchy dudes hanging out in the parking lot at night make it uncomfortable to leave your car unattended.
You cannot enter the pool without a front desk attendant opening the door for you. Hotel keys do not work for the pool area. They locked off all other exits so you have to go to the lobby door to go in, which is inconvenient and annoying.
They falsely advertised a $30 credit for the restaurant, but we never received it.
Their breakfast was a joke; never replenished at all, seems like they do not care about it to be frank.
The room looked nice, and luckily smelled okay thankfully. But that was probably the only upside, besides the location.
I will not be returning. So much wrong here. Especially when you try to skirt federal laws over nonsense. ADA regulations are federal law. You cannot force a disabled person to pay fees for their service animal. It is illegal.
