This place is the definition of the landlord special. Mold on the bathroom ceiling was the worst of it, but it's clearly a very old building. Chipped paint messily covered damaged corners, any installation (the bathroom fan, ceiling tiles, and sink) was half assed and there were major gaps. The sink faucet could literally turn 360 degrees. On top of all of that, I booked through parksleephotels and BEFORE I purchased I called envision directly and asked to make sure they partnered with them, and the man confirmed they did. I arrived at 10:30pm after a long day of work and packing and getting my pets to their respective caretakers for my trip running on 4 hours of sleep. I arrive, give them my information and show them the booking confirmation. Nothing comes up. The guy there types at his computer for 10-15 minutes before saying he'll try to call someone. No one answers. Tries another person, no answer. He then goes on to click at his computer for another half hour or so. I'm standing there silently, repeating the same information when he asks for it. I asked if there were any available rooms and he said yes. I asked if I could book directly through the hotel and still park my car and get a shuttle to the airport. He says no, that it has to be done through parksleepfly. He seems more concerned about getting off his shift on time than anything else. Another employee shows up for his shift and gets ahold of the manager on the first call. I believe her name was Sandra, and she goes on to tell me that they are not partners with parksleephotels, only parksleepfly (the first guy told me it was a sister company). She then suggests that I book directly through the hotel (funny, it's almost like I asked if I could do that!) and I asked if I could still park my car and get a shuttle. She said they'll "make a one time exception" and let me keep my car there but I couldn't use the shuttle and I would need to use an Uber/lyft. To her credit she was helpful figuring that out as I don't use those much. It was past midnight by the time I got my room key. Mind you, I told them I need to leave the hotel by 3am. I didn't get a wink of sleep cause by the time I got to the room I needed to shower and get ready to leave! Oh, AND I got charged twice, once whe the booking when through and another for booking through the hotel directly. I called parksleephotels and the lady helped me immediately and said she is in contact with the manager, Jeff, regularly and that everything I dealt with was BS. I paid $167 and some change after tax for staying one night at this hotel. I want yall to look at the photos and determine if that is a fair price for all of this :).
