I originally booked with them via Booking.com, but later had to change my dates. I contacted them on WhatsApp, and they told me not to rebook through Booking.com and that they would hold my spot directly (for the same price but obviously they didn’t have to pay any fees to booking.com) . Unfortunately, I later had issues with my flights and informed them the day before (as soon as I knew) that I would not be staying in Yerevan at all. Despite this, they told me they would still charge me.
I was wondering how they would be able to charge me, since I never gave them any credit card information outside of Booking.com. Shockingly, they misused my card details from the Booking.com system!! Legally, hotels can only keep those details for 10 days after the official cancellation —this happened on day 24. In other words, they stole my payment information and charged me!!
When I confronted them and reported the case to Booking.com, they still refused to refund the money they had no right to charge in the first place. This is unacceptable, and I am reporting them to the police.
Do not book with them—completely untrustworthy!!
