Enze Cakes in Ryde is a brilliant go to when you feel like something light, fluffy, and a bit special. Their chiffon style cakes really live up to the hype: soft sponge, balanced sweetness, and flavours that feel a little different from the usual bakery staples. There’s a great range of options (the mango cream and rose and lychee style flavours are crowd favourites), and it’s the kind of place where you can easily grab a slice for now and start planning what whole cake you want for the next celebration. Coffee (and matcha) alongside cake makes it an easy choice for a casual treat, and the outdoor area is a genuine plus, especially on a sunny day when you want to sit for a bit rather than rushing off. It’s also handy that they do pickup and delivery options, which is great if you’re ordering ahead for birthdays or gatherings. The only reason it’s not five stars is the seating area could be improved for comfort and flow. When it’s busy, it can feel a bit cramped if you’re trying to properly enjoy cake and coffee on site, and a few more comfortable seats or better spacing would make a big difference to the overall experience. Still, the quality of the cakes easily makes it worth the visit, and I’ll definitely be back.

OMG, this business popped up in my socials & I had to visit immediately 😂. I’m now working my way through their signature cake menu, starting with the Blueberry Lemon Cake. The store is bright, spotless, & beautifully styled in fresh whites. Service was quick & efficient & the cakes looked absolutely incredible. Once we got ours home, we couldn’t wait to dive in after dinner. Verdict: perfect. The sponge was light & airy, the cream not too sweet, & the flavours were gorgeous. Can’t wait to choose the next one! Update: Cake #2 was the Mango Cream. The Blueberry Lemon is still our favourite so far, but the Mango was also fantastic. Excited to try number 3 😊

Bought a strawberry matcha cake from Enze for my wife’s birthday and we loved it. Not being a matcha fan I wasn’t expecting much, but the flavour was perfectly balanced — not too sweet, but still rich and full of character — and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. Customer service was excellent too. I ordered online and picked it up from Top Ryde without any hassle. Highly recommend.

My family and I always love purchasing most of the chiffon cake flavours from here, especially the strawberry matcha, mango and lychee cake. The cake are very light and fluffy. We usually order it online and get it delivered. The delivery service is always prompt. The atmosphere at the new enze cake store in Top Ryde is very vibrant and modern just like their cakes. I would highly recommend the cakes here if you are a cake lover.

I got the rose lychee slice cake takeaway - yum. Super soft and not too sweet. Didn’t have time to sit for a coffee but the place looked amazing with lots of space to sit and eat. Need to try the other flavours soon.

Delectable cakes and I can 100% recommend them for an event!! Their order system is easy to use and efficient, can pickup the day of your event and the cake both looks beautiful and tastes insanely good (also super affordable)! Everyone was happy at our event and we’re glad we went with them

I recently tried the Enze mango cake and it completely exceeded my expectations! The moment I opened the box I was hit with a fresh, natural mango aroma that instantly made my mouth water. The cake itself is incredibly soft and moist with layers of fresh mango cream that taste fruity without being overly sweet.

Really great cakes! Husband and I finally got a chance to visit the shop. Had a slice of the lemon yuzu and a slice of the salted caramel and chocolate and a flat white each. Very reasonable prices, too, compared to what other places charge! Cakes were divine and the coffees were good. Service was perfectly fine, poor people were flat out as it was so busy. Because it was so busy, though, it wasn’t the best place to have the slices and coffee, so my recommendation is to buy them to go and have them someplace else. We will definitely go back to try the other flavours as slices, so we can decide which whole cake to order for our next celebration!
