"Go Golfing in Leavenworth As you drive into Leavenworth, you'll see a steep drop on one side of the road, and below it, a golf course. The Enzian Falls Putting Course features 18 holes of natural bent grass greens with panoramic views of the river, waterfalls, streams and the surrounding mountains. It's owned by the Enzian Inn, and guests of the Enzian Inn and Alpine Rivers Inn receive a complimentary round of golf. The course is open April through October, seven days a week, weather permitting, but more experienced golfers may prefer to head to the nearby Leavenworth Golf Club for a bigger challenge."

I lived in Washington for 25 years. Been to Leavenwoy many times first time staying in downtown. This hotel is definitely underrated. Feels like a little small spot in Europe yet so close to home. This hotel has everything, great for families large kids pool, separate area for for Adult pool, few Jacuzzis and indoor pool. And most of all included breakfast everything made from scratch absolutely great experience highly recommended.

WOW! Just wow! Everything from the moment of check in until I left this afternoon was amazing! The staff is friendly, and always helpful. The grounds are beautiful! The adult pool with hot tub was perfect with the mountains in the background. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, and would have cost a fortune anywhere else…it came with the room, which is priced so well! I even was able to ride a bike for no extra charge! The room was clean, the beds comfortable, family movie night with popcorn! Just WOW! I will be back…great place!!!

We really enjoyed staying here. The evening before our stay, they called to confirm if we needed a certain amenity based off our booking information. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk was so amazing and walked me through everything they had to offer, how it all worked and let me know we could ask any questions we might have. So kind and was great compared to other hotels and inns that we’ve stayed in in the past. Best complimentary breakfast and seating we’ve ever had as well. Robes are so comfortable, heavy and comfortable and not hard like most hotel robes usually are. If we ever come to Leavenworth again, this will definitely be where we want to stay! The only thing I hate bringing up was returning a follow up phone call about our amenities before our arrival, the gentleman who answered the phone was quite the opposite to the hospitality we received when we arrived and when we left. Not sure if he was filling in? Other than that, everything was amazing.

Google
SHOCKED by some of the negative reviews. That was not our experience at all. Loved our wonderful stay at the Enzian. Kelly was extremely friendly when making our reservations. Thank you! The breakfast is outstanding and such a beautiful view from the windows. The room was wonderful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The A/C worked great. The game room was fun and also the beautiful golf course. Loved the piano music in the evening and the beautiful Bavarian decor! THANK YOU Enzian for a wonderful time and making my birthday celebration so, so "SPECIAL" We've already booked another stay later this year for my husband's birthday!

Room is quaint decorated in an old European style, with a shared porch. The free standing bath tub was a hit with my wife. Breakfast buffet is the best hotel Breakfast. The breakfast here would easily cost 30 a plate anywhere else in town. And would have been worth the money but it's free here.

We had a fantastic time here! Beautiful swimming pools! Indoor and outdoor also an adults only pool with hot tubs! Great breakfast and game rooms and even a family movie area!

Very rude and unprofessional night shift front desk staff|Corey, the night auditor refused service, due to my foreign accent. Corey either had a bad day or just dislikes immigrants. We were traveling three adults and two children (an infant and a toddler) We called 10 minutes prior to our arrival and Corey confirmed that there are two available rooms for our family. I asked about baby crib/pack and play and asked a few more questions about the maximum occupancy and if they can beat the booking.com price which was about $250 per night per room. Corey said he can’t. So we said we would book it anyway directly with the hotel instead of via booking.com|He asked me for my personal info and asked me for my credit card number over the phone. I asked can I pay when I come to the hotel since we are 10 minutes away? He said No!|Then I arrived at the hotel and said I would like to pay for two rooms and he said I look sketchy and he refused to book the two rooms. |I asked why so? And his answered that I looked sketchy and that I should go and find a different hotel.|We turned around and found another hotel Bavarian lodge which had similar reviews online and we were able to book two rooms there instead. The staff over at Bavarian Lodge offered us excellent customer service and if we will ever be traveling in Leavenworth WA again with our family, we will go back to Bavarian Lodge|We came the next day and talked to a day shift supervisor and shared our experience and they said they will address this issue. Whether they will address it or not no one knows, but we will not waste our time and money at a place with rude and unfriendly staff

Google
I would give them 4.8 stars if I could. I don’t think it is quite 5, but the minor nitpicky issue isn’t enough to make it 4 stars. Honestly the only main issue is how terribly thin the walls and ceilings are. Other than that it’s a cool place to stay. Good breakfast, live music in the lobby and at breakfast, lots of fun amenities like a game room, gym, a couple of pools (indoor and outdoor), board games, a golf simulator. Location is basically right across the street from the main shopping district. We didn’t do it this time around but they also have a mini golf course that is cool and unique because it is like real golf greens.

Yelp
We booked this hotel for the location + family-friendly experience & it did not disappoint. It's very close by to the reindeer farm, abt 30 min drive to snow mobile tours, and walking distance to the Bulgarian Village. We had a short but really lovely/cozy stay at the Enzian Inn. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with the smell of fresh popcorn coming from the theatre room. Check in was quick & easy. We did not have enough time to explore all the amenities (game room, fitness studio, theatre room, sports court, mini golf etc). We mostly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools & that alone was worth the stay. The indoor pool is huge with plenty of seating and a spacious jacuzzi. The outdoor pool has two hot tubs and it was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences sitting in the warm water while it snowed on us with the air so nice and crisp. That was my actually favorite part of our stay. I will never forget how fresh and clean that cold Washington air was (we are from So Cal). A delicious buffet style breakfast was included each morning. We were able to experience a very wholesome live alphorn performance with our meal. All of the staff were super kind and hospitable. We accidentally left a camera charger behind and they called us shortly after we checked out so we were able to grab it before we left town. I would definitely book to Enzian Inn again. Thank you for having us!

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, to the point where I forgot to take pictures beyond when I first entered the room. We came in the off season, so amenities were readily available and we had our run of the place. Shuffleboard, skeeball, ping pong, and billiards are available in the game room. There's basketball and racquetball available, though the enclosed room echoes as much as you'd expect. There are multiple pools and hot tubs and my kids were mad when I dragged them away from the hotel into town. Most of our experiences with the front desk were very positive. I entered our occupants when booking the room but the lady at the desk let me know that the new system is having trouble, so I was charged $10 per guest, which I thought had been included already since I'd entered them. They also have movies and popcorn nightly, which is really fun. When we went down, the projector was on but nothing was playing and no popcorn. When my wife went to ask if they could make popcorn, she came back with a frown and a microwaveable bag. The guy said it was too much work to make popcorn for just one family - were other people there too? Ugh. Fortunately, a lady came down shortly after, made popcorn in the machine, and got the movie started for our family AND the other family down there. Breakfast was a treat. There were many options and I'd wear out my fingers trying to type them all up. It was good - one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had, made even more enjoyable by a live alpine horn concert. It was a pleasant stay and I'd consider staying again, even if there were a couple of unfortunate surprises and interactions.

Yelp
Enzian Inn is a centrally located right on Rte 2, and we had a mostly pleasant visit this winter. The hotel is done up in a German Alpine theme, but the rooms are still modern. The dining room is actually on the top floor and is certainly a highlight of the hotel, as one can enjoy the mountain views while eating a generous breakfast spread with some nice pastries, hot foods, and cereal. They are also known for Alphorn performances during breakfast and it was fun to learn about and listen to these very long instruments! There is also a long list of facilities such as a pool, golf simulator, etc., but we spent most of our time out in the town. It was a nice tough though to hear a piano player in the lobby when we returned.

Yelp
Phenomenon Breakfast buffet everyday. They have so many sweets and breads and omelets. I love it! They also have an indoor pool and outdoor pool. Depends on the season whether the outdoor pool is open obviously. Some of the rooms have a hot tub in them, but all of the rooms I've stayed in are nice and clean and very cute. So much character in each room!

Yelp
Cute lodge in Leavenworth! Great location right across the street from the main area. Outdoor pool is open year round! Tons of activities for families! Free breakfast was delicious! I made the mistake of booking a queen room and I thought there would be two beds since I put 3 adults and there was only one bed. The hotel was great about changing to a king and said they would give us a pad. (Which I thought would be like a cot but it was a physical pad for the floor) I gave this stay a 3 instead of 4 because I felt our room was not the cleanest. There was hair within the bed and the pad they gave us was thin and very dirty stains on it. Also they use metal keys and we always had trouble with our door. Resort was very nice cleanliness and price was the reason for my rating.

Yelp
I attended a WAMOA conference in Leavenworth and stayed at the Enzian inn. The best accommodations, very well maintained, super clean, and we wanted for nothing, the whole staff took such good care of our group!!! The breakfast spread was awesome! Thank you so much!!!

Yelp
Another wonderful stay! This was our 32nd year coming here for Christmas. We've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the accommodations are warm and welcoming. Heading back to our real lives today, but already looking forward to next year's stay.

Yelp
This is a go to place when in Leavenworth! This hotel is all is says it will be, it is awesome. Pools and hot tubs galore, bot too busy in early april with a 3 nights for the price of 2 deal. There is and awesome buffet breakfast every morning, the entertainment with the Alpenhorn was so lovely and set the atmosphere. The hotel is clean and the staff inviting and accommodating. Stay here, totally worth it!

Yelp
never again ! We were told our promised 2:00 check-in for the $350/nt room was one of many erroneous emails sent, too bad our room may not be ready until 4. The place is just plain OLD and everything is worn out. Toilet seats sit about a foot off the floor, toilets will not flush unless you hold the handle for 30 seconds. Rainfall showerhead floods the entire bath floor if you do not form a towel dike around he shower each time. Room smelled of urine. Bed sunken in the middle- OLD and worn out. Every room was booked as it was a Friday 9/20/24, so asking to change rooms was not an option.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place. Especially if you're traveling with young children. We were flying in from Hawaii and drove to hours to Leavensworth from Seattle and as soon as we arrived, they granted us an early check-in - we rented one of the suites and it was absolutely phenomenal. The only thing I would say that was negative was the Jacuzzi tub in the hotel room wasn't as clean as we would like but we didn't plan to use it anyway. The game was awesome and very clean and they were very strict with the rules which I liked as a mother of young kids. We will definitely be coming again. Last but not least was the incredible breakfast buffet every morning that was complementary. Coming from a place like Hawaii where everything is mostly farm to table, it exceeded our expectations.

Yelp
I've always wanted to stay here because it's so close to the main street in Leavenworth. I stayed for one night and loved it! The queen room was spacious with a good mix of traditional bavarian and modern decor. It was all decorated for Christmas in the lobby it was so cute. The breakfast buffet was really good. Homemade waffles yum! We really enjoyed the indoor pool as well. Looking forward to come back soon!

Yelp
This is the perfect place to stay in Leavenworth. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully cared for. If you have been coming over the years you will notice what the owners value. Some things are old - sturdy, solid - meant to serve for decades or even centuries. Our family loves this, and it reminds my hubby of the places he visited growing up in Denmark. But the owners continue to invest in the property so it remains a standout place to stay. Bathrooms have been renovated, a mixed success maybe, as they are wet with the zero entry showers, but it works with proper deployment of the bath mat. Mattresses and linens seemed just right, with the appropriate numbers of towels for the guest count. Outdoor spaces have been redone, and breakfast remains sumptuous, in its gorgeous 3 sides of alpine view setting. Its not full service, but it might as well be - dining room buzzes with staff clearing plates, cooking things, stocking the buffet and being so helpful. This is true throughout the place. It is staffed! They don't even ask you if you wish to be green and forego housekeeping. When was the last time you experienced that? Two blocks from the rowdy center of town, therefore quiet at night - just perfect. If you want corporate consistency and key card entry, there is a Hampton at the eastern edge of town by Safeway, and a Marriott coming soon in that same area. We will return to the Enzian.

Yelp
I don't understand the stellar reviews. But I do understand the poor reviews! At $400/night I certainly expected an above average experience. However, the facilities are tired! And I concur with the issues many others have mentioned--plumbing, noise, dilapidation. The staff was uncaring! Our heater kept turning off after 5-10 minutes. If I jiggled, and maneuvered, and cajoled the plug, it would start up again; but, only for 5-10 minutes. The temperature was below 30 outside so we basically didn't sleep and tried to stay warm in the sagging, sad, tired old bed. When this was conveyed to staff, the response was "that's too bad." When pressed a little further, they acquiesced to saying they'd let management know. Did we hear from management? No! Do I hold out an expectation that I'll hear from management? No! Would we ever stay at the Enzian Inn again? No! Would I suggest anyone else stay there? No!

Yelp
Great time here with the family. Very friendly service, clean rooms, and between the indoor and outdoor pools, putting course, and downtown Leavenworth a block away, plenty to do with the family.

Yelp
360 degree amazing views from the hotel. Rooms are Bavarian themed & really neat (pun intended)! - Rooms include a coffee maker with coffee and refrigerator that is hidden inside one of the cabinets so open them all up during your stay to find them. -Toiletry items provided: shampoo, conditioner, bar soaps, q-tips, circular cotton wipes, make-up removing wipes, shower caps, hair dryer, kleenex, lots of towels, bath robes. - Other plus amenities: Daily continental breakfast included with your stay, Bavarian horn performance twice daily during breakfast, & live piano performance at the lobby almost every night, hot tub & pool at the basement level, and Putting equipments available at the lobby for the golf course just across the street from the hotel, where you can be greeted by two friendly goats! Had an amazing stay at the Enzian Inn! Would recommend to anyone!

Yelp
The Enzian Inn looks small from the street, but it is much bigger inside, and offers plenty to do. Indoor and Outdoor Pools/Hot tubs (separate adults only pool is nice!) give you a break from the summer heat after walking downtown in the sun, and a relaxing evening when the sun starts to set over the mountains behind you. Our room was so adorable! Yes, its "kitchy", but I loved it. In fact, the decor is thoughtfully incorporated everywhere to give you the feel of being in a Bavarian setting. At night the lobby has a piano player that echoes throughout the halls. (Lovely) When you check-in you are asked to sign up for a time slot for breakfast. It was very appreciated once you walked into the room and didn't feel crowded, and could take your time enjoying the fabulous offerings of handmade baked goods, a hot buffet, an omelet station, and an assortment of butters and jams to try on toast or scones. Delicious! Then to be serenaded by an alpenhorn player while sipping on coffee was the unexpected ending to a perfect stay. We loved it, and we will be back!

Yelp
I just loved this place, from the looks to the staff to the while process. The check in was easy and informative, the staff was beautifully dressed and friendly. Each interaction we had was pleasant. We went for the suite with hot tub and fireplace, we had the kids with us, and came for an elope and the partition gave us plenty of privacy. 2 doors to the bathroom and a semi private balcony we very very nice. The hot tub was fun, they have a real wood fireplace, and in fall, though it was warm, it was a nice touch. Bed was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Great job staff! The amenities were amazing. Mini golf, it was a legit golf course.. like, a shrunk down gold course! The pool, indoor and out were amazing. The best indoor hotel pool I've seen! Hot tubs were hott!! Towels were soft and plentiful. Breakfast was still popping mid covid. Same amazing buffett but safe. All baked goods and food was just, good... not hotel good, but actually good. The views, the rooms, the experience... would recommend. We will be back!!

Kiara L.

Yelp
We love staying here. It is worth the little bit of extra money compared to some of the cheaper hotels and motels in Leavenworth. The breakfast alone will blow you away. The indoor and outdoor pool option is great so that no matter what the weather you will get to swim. My only complaint is that check-in is at 4 PM which I feel like is quite late in the day. It doesn't really make you feel like you get your money is worth with a 4 PM check in and an 11 AM check out if you are only staying one night

Lisa K.

Yelp
We love this place! It was recommended by friends and it is by far the best hotel we visited in Leavenworth. The service is amazing, clean rooms, and plenty of things to do. We also LOVED the golf course. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
We found this place last minute on a trip just because to Leavenworth and I thought this spot was so cute. Such a quaint little hotel with all the charm you would want from this Bavarian town and we soaked it all in. The room was spacious and old style with a armoire and an ambiance that was really pretty. Basic necessities in the room but the pool was gorgeous. Social distancing wise there were not too many people at the pool when we went but it was sure pretty underground and glistening. The breakfast that was included was tasty. They have an omelette bar and you can get fresh waffles. The views from the balcony are spectacular. The tub in the room is perfect for soaking and I thank the friends at the front desk for all the extra bubble bath!

Yelp
Thanks for allowing us to stay at your location! I appreciated the easy, free parking. Building access with your key on all side made this even better. The pianist in the lobby was a beautiful greeting. We loved how rustic and homey this Inn was. The alpenhorn serenade at breakfast was beautiful. We really enjoyed the warm food and toast. The potatoes and honey butter were to die for! The pastries and waffle bar were so much fun. The bath soaps provided in the room were good. We really liked the quality of them. This location is only 4-5 minutes walking from the center of town. We enjoyed it and would consider staying here again. My lost star is for: 1. We enjoyed the spa late hours, however, our "adult" only time was interrupted by teens and children. Additionally, the spa is only big enough for 4 and you can imagine with teens and children in the area, it was hard to enjoy. 2. Holy holy noise. Our room was against the staircase/elevator so we heard everyone who entered and and exited the hotel via stairs or elevator. 3. The price is pretty high compared to other local spaces. Consider offering a military discount! 4. The omelette bar left a lot to be desired. (Boxed eggs with an offering of ham, bell pepper and cheese only.) Anytime we went to get a drink or another plate, our table was cleared.... Including our full cups of coffee and plates of food still being eaten. Consider adding an "im done" or "still eating" sign on the table.

Yelp
+ Great value + Location + Rooms and decor + Complimentary Breakfast! + Golf This hotel has it all! We were super lucky that there was one queen room left for our anniversary weekend. This was the first time that I was able to book a place close to downtown Leavenworth, and I won't do it any other way from now on. Super convenient walking access (really, like under 5 minutes) to Leavenworth's excellent restaurants and bars. Massive mini golf course (oxymoronic?) just across the street that you get complimentary access to. Delicious breakfast, beautiful rooms, beautiful bathroom. Really I couldn't say more great things about the Enzian.

Steve M.

Yelp
The hotel was ok, the employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. When we arrived, we were charged .30 cents to our credit card at check in for some tax that was not charged when I paid in full two months earlier. Two days after leaving the hotel I noticed a $27.15 charge on my credit card. I called the hotel to see what the charge was for and I was told it was for a missing bottle of hand soap from the bathroom. I told the person ( male name unknown) that we had not taken the soap and he basically told me we did and we were going to be charged. We will not stay there again, if you decide to stay there I suggest that you check for added charges.

Yelp
This review is for the mini golf. If you want to take a break from eating brats, drinking beer and shopping, try this out! It was fun to play, I think we spent a couple of hours playing, taking pictures and bending the rules. Oh and I won, but it depends who you ask.

Yelp
Every time we come to Leavenworth we always stay here. We had always had good experiences with this hotel and we also love the Post Hotel (same owner for both hotels) but today we had a bad experience. We are here celebrating my husbands birthday and I made reservations for two rooms one for my daughter and her boyfriend and one for us. I made both reservations same day and same time. Has we are out for the day I get a phone call that I have to come back and pack my things because I was supposed to check out at 11am. I was like no I have two nights. The lady who apparently was the manager said no I'm so sorry you only had one night. I explained to her that no I had made a Reservation for two night for two rooms. And all I got from her was I'm sorry and we are all full but I do have a back up room for you. Worst room ever. I have never had anything like this happened to us here. I'm so mad and upset with all this. Not how I wanted my husbands birthday weekend to end up.

Yelp
The best of the best of hospitality when you visit Leavenworth. The Enzian Inn has been a cornerstone of Leavenworth for many, many, many years. They just get better with time. When we were there, they were updating their pool area. We stayed in the Bridal Suite. A beautiful room filled with traditional Bavarian furniture, a comfy bed, a fabulous jetted tub and a balcony overlooking the newly renovated pool. An amazing breakfast was included with our stay. Lots of tasty, traditional treats to get your day started. Don't forget to witness their impressive alpenhorn blower after breakfast! If you need some alone time, go to the central area above the lobby. There is tea, coffee and lots of choices for comfy chairs to fill your own Zenful experience. The staff is at the top of their game. If you need anything, just check with David and the front desk staff! They are always there to help with a smile! We can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
WOW! Excellent Customer Service Across the Board! GREAT FOR EVENTS! I had the opportunity to attend a conference there this weekend and was blown away by their dedication to making our visit a success! Here are just a few things that I love: EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE IS...wait for it...HELPFUL, CHEERFUL, WELCOMING, ACCOMODATING, ETC, ETC! The food was fantastic! Cathy, the chef, AMAZING! Appetizers for the first night were gobbled down at record speed, yet Enzian's staff was right on top of it! The box lunches were terrific - four different types, including GF/Vegetarian! Dinner for the auction/gala? Some of the best salmon I have had in ages! And the salad, with heirloom tomatoes and gorgeous greens, had this vinaigrette that had people swooning! Even when our numbers were unexpectedly higher (yay!) than we had anticipated, they met the challenge with a smile! How cool is that?!!!??? FYI, the inn may appear to be smaller than it is. Don't let that stop you from booking it for an event! They have great conference rooms and an unstoppable cheerful spirit! Someone should tell Seattle to take notes! I also wanted to send a "shout out" to the following: Cameron was our hero while setting up for the auction I loved the delightful young woman with long straight hair who worked the front desk and yet dashed in to help clean. Thank you to the young man whose name starts with a "Y" (forgive me, I should have written it down). And Cathy, our sainted chef, was so far above and beyond! I know several others all deserved medals for everything they did, as well, and every one of them always with SMILES! Now, add in: There are lots of free (yes, I said free) parking and a central location right downtown! YAY! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yelp
Truck-stop, roach motel disguised as a luxury tourist destination! We walked into a complete nightmare. It's a scam costing us $700 and we're mortified that we fell for it. Where do I begin? First, the hotel is right along the only highway going through town, with 18-wheel tractor trailers going by every few minutes, as well as overall busy traffic. It's also the route on which all EMS, police, and fire travel therefore we have to hear that noise consistently as well. There are children running up and down the halls, stomping and yelling, even late at night. The old air conditioner they have in the room doesn't even mitigate the all-night noise, nor do I want to use an old air conditioner to try to cover up the sound in a $233/night motel. Second, staff said we weren't able to reserve pool times until we checked in but when we checked in, all the time slots were taken except between 10&11pm at the indoor pool/hot tub area. Between 10&11pm is also the only "adult only" time slot there is, meaning from 8am to 10pm, both indoor and outdoor pools/hot tubs are overrun by children (and even from 10-11pm because naturally people break the rules). Third, the decor is old, atrocious, and kitschy. There's old dirt brown carpet, stenciled ribbons with weird branches painted above the bed, and a rust-colored, uncomfortable armchair that wouldn't be picked up if left on the sidewalk for free. The bathroom is updated but, inexplicably, there's a $2 outdoor plastic chair in the corner. Fourth, staff are condescending and inappropriate. We told the younger female staff working the front desk in the afternoon about our concerns with the road noise and asked to speak to the manager about our overall dissatisfaction. She said, "We don't have a manager here. And um, the traffic USUALLY dies down at night." No manager? The traffic might die down? Well, it's 11:30pm and we're still listening to 18-wheel, tractor trailers rumble loudly by. Fifth, the girl that checked us in who condescendingly shrugged when we told her our concerns was also badmouthing someone else who had complained along with her female coworker - blatantly in front of us - as we were walking by. The front desk staff working at and after 5pm on 8/28/20 showed no respect for the guests' legitimate complaints nor for the quality of the guests' stay. Instead, they disparaged and gossiped about couples and families who expressed concerns about this motel, who also were duped into spending an outrageous amount of money on the awful conditions they and we are getting. Sixth, they require a 3-night minimum stay, guaranteeing at least $700 from every guest that gets scammed. As far as I can tell there's no recourse for this hell because it says no refunds in the confirmation email and we don't even know if we can speak with a manager. Seventh, the only staff we've seen at the motel are the two young girls at the front desk. We've seen no staff doing any cleaning, providing room service, nor helping people bring in their luggage. Eighth, they're paying people to write positive reviews. Somehow amidst this hell, Enzian Inn and other "hotels" along the highway maintain a nearly 5-star review average. I'm horrified by this motel as well as this town; both are constructed scams built on smoke and mirrors to deceive people into spending money on nothing. The "Bavarian" aspect of this tiny town was thought up by the people losing money after the railroad money left. The only thing to do here is walk on a two-to-three block walkway where you can buy throwaway souvenirs and over-priced food. They recruit tourists to Leavenworth for one reason only: to be extorted for money without getting any quality in return.

Yelp
Lots of amenities. Golf, breakfast, morning music, recreation room, multiple pools, etc. the breakfast is one of the best I've had at an inn. Omelet bar and fresh Belgian waffles are amazing. The rooms are beautiful. The bathtub is amazing. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the walls are thin, every shower, flush and step from upstairs can be heard. Hallway conversations can be heard. And what's up with still using actual room keys? It's 2023!

Yelp
I loved it! Had a great breakfast upstairs every morning. They had a nice pool and let you borrow cross country skis. Was good walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Great service, nice rooms, good ping pong areas. Also every morning at 8:15 there is a man that does songs with alpenhorn.

Yelp
The Vista Suite, room 337 is romantic, magical, serene and perfect. What a way to celebrate hubby's birthday! Very comfortable king bed in separate bedroom, jetted jacuzzi tub for two, wood burning fireplace (they supply Duraflame logs & matches), small fridge in room, and large deck with incredible mountain views! The included breakfast was great, complete with Alp Horn player on the restaurant deck each morning at 8:15 and 9:15. There's a piano player every evening in the lobby, we were drawn in to sit for a bit and take it all in. Front desk staff was efficient, courteous, helpful and informative. Hotel is walking distance to Front Street - well lit at night and safe crosswalks close. Our room was quiet and comfortable - we slept like babies! If I were asked for suggestions, even though Enzian is darn near perfect, I'd suggest in-room safes, a foldable luggage rack (currently only a spot for one suitcase), an inside door safety lock, and more shelving in the bathroom (very little space to put toiletries - only one shelf too high for this 5'2" person). There's plenty of room to add a shelf or small cabinet, which would help tremendously, as the pedestal sink top offers very little room to put anything. But having said all that, I'd go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Enzian, for a magical weekend!

Yelp
We booked our stay months in advance, and after regularly staying at the Enzian for well over a decade, I had certain expectations of our stay that I look forward to. One of those being the amazingly, exceptionally delicious Bavarian Rolls they serve at breakfast. Our first morning there I went to the pastry table and noticed they weren't there. I figured since it's a slow time of year they may rotate them out and they would be there the next day. However, I asked a worker and they said they didn't serve them anymore, but she would talk to her supervisor to see what they could do. I can't tell you the extreme sadness and grief that came over me thinking that one of my favorite things about this Inn was no longer going to be an experience I would have. The next day I went up to breakfast and this time I got to meet one of the kitchen staff, Ms Lee. She informed me why they no longer serve them. (Thank you covid for destroying something else for our nation). The pastry that they used to make the Bavarian Rolls was no longer available. They tried a different pastry, very similar, but the baking time would not allow complete and thorough cooking of the cream in side without burning the pastry They substituted jam but apparently management felt that wasn't authentic. She said she thought they had some in the back that were frozen, and she would get them out and have them for me the next day. Now we're on the third morning. I went up to breakfast and there they were! I was so excited! Ms Lee came by our table later and brought some rolls that she had set aside just for our family. She asked how we liked them, and we said why don't they serve these? They're amazing! They don't have to be Bavarian Rolls, Enzian could serve these as their own special pastry. Ms Lee suggested the name the Enzian Rolls. To which I said that's absolutely perfect! And let me just say, yes it's not the cream filled pastry, but the pastry with the jam is very delightful and it's something I hope that management would seriously consider making part of the staple of the breakfast pastries at the Enzian Inn; to which so many guests have become accompanied to experiencing during their stay. Thank you, Ms Lee, for making my/our stay so wonderful! I can't tell you, with some serious family losses these last several months, the anticipation of having a few days in Leavenworth at the Enzian Inn was something I definitely needed for mental health and rejuvenation. But knowing that I would possibly never have those delicious Rolls again was devastating, but you made sure our family had that wonderful experience! Please, please Enzian management make these part of the staple pastry table for the Enzian Inn breakfast and call them the Enzian Roll as a fitting celebration of the years of hospitality and great customer service we've always found at the Enzian Inn.

Yelp
Cozy and homey place to stay. Great service. Clean rooms and very comfortable beds and pillows. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. We loved that we could just easily walk to the village area from the inn. Great experience!

Yelp
This is a wonderfully quaint hotel located in walking distance from downtown Leavenworth. Customer service was amazing at the front desk, making a friendly and positive impression right from the start. We were quickly checked in and given our room keys. Our room was nice with a cute bathtub and separate shower. The hotel provides a free daily breakfast as well as access to the mini golf and goat feeding available across the road. We enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend it as a nice, friendly home base for visiting Leavenworth.

Yelp
Place is super cute if your looking for that Bavarian look! The hotel includes breakfast... and when I mean everything it was a full buffet of food and delicious Not only good breakfast but at certain times of breakfast a alp horn player goes out on the balcony and plays , almost like a good morning call to the town of Leavenworth Rooms are cute we had a one bedroom balcony view , the bathroom was fully remodeled which is very nice but the room could use a upgrade as well , beds are not really comfortable and the door going out to the balcony I think might be hollow cause you could hear everything outside . The pool was huge but I have to admit the chlorine smell was overwhelming, and it looks like they were doing some construction to the entrance from the inside to the outside pool looks like they jimmy rigged tarp and tape to cover it. I would say this is definitely a kid friendly hotel they have a pingpong table area , indoor basketball court , gym, pool .

Yelp
Very pleasant little hotel in Leavenworth. Even though it is just an Inn, it didn't feel dirty or run down at all. The bathroom had a cool tub and the shower was great. The whole hotel smells like roasted nuts in the afternoon/evening and it was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice. The best part of the whole stay was the breakfast! Those waffles were to die for, but honestly everything I had was stellar. The alp horn serenade was very cool too!

Yelp
Best place in town to stay! They have the best customer service around, the best atmosphere, and THE BEST BREAKFAST! We took a train to Leavenworth and our returning train was running very late. We asked if we could pro-rate a room so we had somewhere to hang out while we waited since it was delayed until after 1 A.M! That was not something they were not able to. However, they gave us a room on the house! What an amazing gesture and AMAZING customer service. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and spacious. The bathroom was very well put together and had both a stand up shower and a bathtub! Couldn't ask for anything more.

Yelp
Really enjoy coming here whenever we visit Leavenworth. It's a few blocks away from Front Street so close to all the main shops, restaurants and other activities. But the hotel itself has all kinds of things to do. There's two swimming pools (though the basement one is freezing!) and even a putting golf course across the street (with goats in the peanut gallery). Complimentary breakfast is served every morning with made to order omelettes, and a serenade by an Alphorn player at 8:15 and 9:15am. On both the day you arrive and the day you leave they allow you to park on the premises all day, so another good reason to stay here.

Yelp
Spent my engagement weekend here! They have both kids and adults only pool, indoor pool, and hot tub. The breakfast was very quaint but tasted so good! I recommend their belgian waffles. The breakfast performance of the horns also made the experience more immersive. We'd love to come stay here every time we visit Leavenworth!

Yelp
Double thumbs up for everything except customer service. I'll start with the positive: Beauty rooms, and probably one of most beautiful hotel bathrooms I have experienced, the game rooms are a hit, and the pool is good for kids and adults, it's about a 20 meter so you can do laps! The breakfast was wonderful and equally wonderful was the view from the breakfast room - a 180 degree view of the snowy mountains. My only rant is the snooty front desk little woman that works the night shift. Regardless, she won't keep me away.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this hotel. Kid friendly, great breakfast included. Alp horn played during breakfast. Hotel is up to date. Can't wait to be back.

Yelp
I can't remember the last time I felt so ripped off. From the moment we arrived, the staff (in this case, Michelle) was rude. This was the theme throughout our stay from the front desk (with the exception of the person who took our keys when we left) to the person making our omelettes, everyone working there appeared to be miserable. The beds were sub par (old or cheaper mattresses), the decor was tired, and the breakfast "meh", The location was fantastic, but we probably could have stayed at any of the hotels on the strip and had a better experience for a better price. I am seriously baffled by all of the good reviews!

Yelp
Excellent downtown location, beautiful pool areas, kids love the breakfast buffet. Three generations of our family stay here every summer and it never disappoints.

Yelp
We stayed at the Enzian in late Sept 2021. I was initially worried since the hallways seemed so dated but the room was great. Beds were very comfortable bathrooms were modern and clean. I cant wait until the new pool is complete. It looks so cool.

Yelp
I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Super friendly employees. My room was huge, with a super comfy bed, and I love all the Bavarian furniture. The hotel is across the street from the heart of downtown Leavenworth. There are so many restaurants and specialty shops. Included in your stay is breakfast. Not muffins and a banana. You get a legit breakfast. Omelets, waffles, hot & cold cereal, fruit, yogurt and more. I will definitely be staying here next time I visit Leavenworth

Yelp
The Enzian is on the decline, it would seem. I gave the Inn two stars for the wonderful staff who provide a stellar breakfast and the day clerks behind the desk. That's where the positives sadly end. Order, safety, courtesy and good management ceases in the evening. Kids of all ages use the hallways as their personal running tracks, slamming into custodial carts without apology. The pool is beyond chaotic, with toddlers using the spa without supervision. The lobby is a mass of unruly teens (and parents) vying for who can shout the loudest. When I tried to call the front desk on these and other issues they would not even answer the phone. We had a problem in the room that needed attention. One lead night clerk on Dec 16 told me in a surely manner, "We don't even hear the phones. If you have a problem, call 911." He leaned forward on the desk in a threatening manner and sneered, "Have I fixed all your problems?" Are you kidding me? I've been frequenting this hotel since 1987 and I genuinely lament its apparent decline. I even conducted my business conferences here for many years. I tried three times to speak with the General Manager, by phone, note and email...no response, not a squeak, NOTHING! I can overlook the tired plumbing fixtures and weary furniture in the rooms, but not the lack of response to serious problems. That's unforgivable. This is just unbelievably poor customer service in any venue, much less the likes of the Enzian. The poor management is nothing short of frightening. The night clerk acted as though he was under the influence, and physically threatened a guest. Yet, management took no corrective action...and apparently doesn't care. I urge management to build back their reputation with solid customer service and better operating principles. While they're at it...conduct drug testing of their employees and shed those who don't measure up.
