Bungalow was beautifully decorated and centrally located to everything we wanted to visit and explore. We appreciated the daily check-in from owners to see how are evening was and to see if we needed any additional supplies. We stayed in Bungalow #8 and the only drawbacks were, there was no dressers for storage and bathroom sink was entirely to small and almost unusable. Shower was amazing with rainshower, jets, and wand all usable. Bluetooth capable, radio, lights and sauna all in one. We also enjoyed the mattress (purple company) which had vibration feature. Overall was pleased with our choice to stay for a week

Needed a place to stay during an area wife power outage due to high winds. The host were most accommodating allowing us to book a night at a time and not change Bungalows. Room was warm and inviting with amenities not found in Hotels. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and thoughtfulness. Highy recommended!

When we first arrived the courtyard is even more beautiful than the photos. We absolutely loved our sray. The shower was awesome. The bungalow was spotless and the lady who takes care of them is such a sweet person. Every morning we were contacted by the owner about our stay and if we needed anything. The lady who takes care of them is so accommodating of you need anything. The Purple Mattress is wonderful! We could not have chosen a better place to stay. It is in a wonderful area of the town also. We have absolutely no negative aspects of our stay except that we would get the largest bungalow next time as we were there for 11 nights. But even if it were not available we would still stay in the smaller one! Loved them!!

Absolutely an amazing place to stay! Very comfortable and cozy! The location was excellent and walking distance to the Grocery store and bar/restaurants. In fact, I walked to and from the Ace Hardware on the east side of Custer. Very close to pretty much every attraction and small town in the Black Hills. I stayed August 2-9 2025 in unit 7, one of the small units during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, it was quiet and comfortable my entire stay. Room was equipped with everything. The guests in the other units were nice and we had great conversations around the fire pit after our long days of exploring the Black Hills on our motorcycles. The only thing I would complain about is the small sink in the bathroom and the lighting in the bathroom. However, the sink size was understandable given the limited space. Even though I was there for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, some of the days it was hard to want to leave the comfort of this place to go on the rides I planned. I will say, out of all my vacations and stays, this place tops them all and made it very hard to leave. I will most definitely return if available next time. If you are considering your stay at this site, don't question, just do it!! Thank you EO Bungalows for an amazing addition to my annual vacation!!

A real jewel in Custer. We stayed 4 nights in no 9 and loved it. Perfectly situated for both trips to Mount Rushmore and Custer state park as well as local restaurants and services. The bungalow was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We loved the outside seating area with the fire pit. Would definitely return..only suggestion we would make is to ensure guests know that tel links are only via what’s app or text. Sherry was great at keeping sure we had everything we needed.

We were in Bungalow 9, the largest of the 4 available It was a good size and had nice division between the living and sleeping area. Unit 9 was a great spot to land for 5 days. I did see unit 6, and while it was basically the same, it was small for a longer stay but seemed comfortable. The management was not present but highly responsive on text. We enjoyed sitting in the enclosed courtyard and visiting with other guests - I believe Linda C, who also wrote a review from this period was one of the guests we enjoyed meeting.||The room was very clean. it was also quiet. the bungalows are 1/2 block from the main street, which seemed just far enough to keep it quiet. I was not sure what the big deal was about "Purple Mattress" but dang if it was not really comfortable, we slept great. AC worked and was quiet. The shower seemed a bit over the top, but I grew to appreciate the various options for spray handle or rain shower or other options. The floor in the shower could be very slippery. ||Custer is a nice little town with good dining options. We walked to the grocery store and were able to feed ourselves using the kitchen for breakfast and dinner. The kitchen is spare for utensils but serviceable enough for very simple meals. ||I thought the room was a good value at about $230. per night. Not cheap but with the size of the room and the location, a fair price

Very nice rooms. No service on site. Also great location to everything downtown. First time doing a room like this it was flawless no complaints. The VFW is around the corner and it is a friendly fun establishment

We stayed in Bungalow 6 for a week. We had a wonderful stay! The owners checked in each morning to see if we needed anything. The bed was so comfortable and everything in our bungalow was perfect! I would highly recommend staying here! Centrally located to everything!

Yelp
We found EO Bungalows as we were planning a cross-country trip in mid-May this year. Due to the pandemic, many hotels were closed and we were leery of staying in most hotels. Having previously stayed at The Bavarian Inn just up the road, we reached out to discover that they, among others, were closed. The owners mentioned their new property in town, EO Bungalows, and how they were offering enhanced cleaning and contactless check-in/out. This combination was perfect for us and we booked one night. This location features four private units with ensuite bathrooms and a common courtyard. Parking is curbside and you're just one block off the main strip, making the location very walkable. The units themselves are wonderful. Nicely furnished with very comfortable beds; a kitchette with everything you need including a toaster; a bathroom with an incredible steam shower, dimmable lighting in all areas and artwork that creates a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. We drive an electric car and found convenient free charging available at the local Chamber of Commerce just two blocks away. We had dinner on The Custer Wolf's patio and enjoyed our first restaurant meal in months. Thanks EO Bungalows! We'll be back... looking forward to the next Tesla rally, whenever that is.

Yelp
Great stay, clean room, great bed. Fenced, shared courtyard with gas fire pit and grill. Kitchenette with small fridge, cooktop, microwave and sink. Walk to local restaurant/ bars. Grocery 1 1/2 blks away. Management very user friendly. Adults only no pets. A little over average price but we'll worth it Only inconvenience, if that, room and bath for the single queen is small but workable. Would absolutely stay again. ps.... great hot air balloon adventure 1 blk away.
