Ephesus Cafe & Gelato

Visiting from Canada and randomly walked by this place, such a great SURPRISE! The staff were super friendly and explained all the flavors really well. Chose the Lemon Custard Cookie and honestly, it’s the best I’ve ever had. Light, refreshing, and not too sweet. I added some chocolate sauce on top to customize it — so good! Highly recommend!!!!!

I tried the chocolate gelato here and really enjoyed it! it wasn't overly sweet - just the right balance of rich chocolate flavor without being cloying. The texture was smooth and creamy. Definitely recommend for anyone who prefers desserts that aren't too sugary. Will be back to try more flavors!

Delicious, authentic gelato and a super friendly owner who genuinely cares about feedback. He even asked us what we thought about the flavors! It’s rare to find that kind of passion. Will definitely be back.

Delicious gelato!! They have Vegan options as well. My son, daughter and I had the Mint-choco, Lemon custard, and the Forest Berry flavors respectively. Scrumptious❣️👍🏼♥️😋 They also serve coffee and pastries 🥮 🍰🍮☕️☕️🧁🍦😋 Makana was very helpful and allowed us to sample some flavors so that we three could make our final decisions 👍🏼

The gelato is creamy, rich and packed with flavor- definitely made with care and high quality ingredients. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a sweet treat

I recently visited this gelato shop and had a wonderful experience. Despite being small, the shop is very clean and well-maintained. They offer an impressive variety of gelato flavors to choose from. I ordered vanilla and flavor was absolutely delicious - rich and authentic. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality gelato!

Ephesus Cafe and Gelato in Woodinville Towne Center, and overall, it was a great experience. The cafe offers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a sweet treat. While I wouldn't say it's the best gelato I've ever had, there were definitely a few flavors that stood out, particularly the strawberry shortcake, which I really enjoyed. The chocolate was also good, but I would recommend trying some of their unique flavors as well. The portion sizes were not so generous.

We had this at a craft fair years ago but didn't hunt down the store and we serendipitously walked by it on the way back to the car. It was marvelous just as good as we remember. Highly recommend the salted caramel and nutty squirrel flavors. Salted caramel is a bit heavy if you have too much so get another flavor to balance it out. They let you sample flavors and also sell pints. Definitely would recommend and I'm coming back for sure.

TL;DR: small proportions, slightly overpriced, no indoor seating. Nothing stood out but it is a nice place to get that "small bite" of something sweet if you need. The current "okay" health score (9/2024) is a bit concerning considering how small the establishment is. Parking: there is a small parking garage nearby or street side parking if you don't mind walking. Atmosphere: Open front gelato shop with no in door seating. Plenty of uncovered outdoor seating on counter level chairs. Service: friendly service. Order and pay at the front, you may try samples of flavors if you wish. Overall nothing wowed me too much. The proportions were small the and price was a bit high. I personally would prefer to go elsewhere for the atmosphere and larger proportions.

We wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, the portions were tiny and it was overpriced. Beyond disappointed.
