Our group had a bit of a rocky start to our trip courtesy the airlines we were flying (the less said the better), but with some help from the Epic North team, things eventually got smoothed out, creating an unforgettable experience for us! We were met by a lovely person from Epic North team, Juan at the airport. A huge shoutout to Juan! After our airline misplaced some of our checked bags, Juan not only patiently stood with us while we filed our missing baggage reports with the airlines but he also went above & beyond thinking steps ahead to ensure we were ready for our first night’s aurora viewing. Whitehorse had been snowing for the last few days and realising our bags with essential winter gear did not arrive with us, Juan thoughtfully offered to take us to nearby shops to buy what we needed. Given it was the weekend and many shops were either closed (or closing), he also connected us with a winter gear rental company. Thankfully, the rental store owner reopened just for us to rent us the necessary gear (an incredible gesture in itself!), and we were fully equipped for our first night of aurora viewing. Juan guided us on two nights of aurora chases, one of which rewarded us with a perfect display of the Northern Lights - all while sipping hot chocolate, eating away the M&Ms & Mars bars, roasted s'mores around a bonfire in wilderness, while listening to his fun stories. There was also a heated cabin for when we needed a break from looking up in the sky 😊 An extremely energetic James took us on a stunning drive to Skagway, Alaska, along the White Pass with stops at Carcross Desert, Emerald Lake, Bennett Lake, and many more pretty spots for photo ops. He shared fascinating stories about the Gold Rush era and we even learnt about the origins of President Trump’s grandfather's business in Yukon. Despite snowstorm warnings, James navigated the roads skilfully with abundant caution, and brought us back safely with memories to last us a lifetime. Loved every bit of this scenic trip and the nuggets of wisdom gained, all thanks to James! Rick, another knowledgeable Epic team member, took us to the Natural Wildlife Reserve and the Hot Springs. What an extremely relaxing afternoon at the Hot Springs ‘twas, just wished a tad bit it lasted a bit longer! We also met Tobi, who runs the Epic North tour company. Tobi was kind enough to offer to adjust one of our aurora viewings to a night with better chances, allowing us to witness the Northern lights in all itsbeauty. Thanks much again to Tobi and to your fabulous team who we met (Juan, James and Rick) whose thoughtful actions turned what could have been a potentially stressful trip for all of us into a warm and welcoming experience. Perhaps a small area for improvement would be their responsiveness over emails and calls, which can sometimes be quite delayed during peak season time. But overall, for anyone heading up north, Epic North is the way to go—personalized service, incredible guides, and memories that will last you a lifetime. All in all, an EPIC trip for us, all thanks to EPIC NORTH :)

From booking to drop off, it was a lovely day. James did a fantastic job of leading us to spots all of us could enjoy! I was thankful he had water along as it was a warm day in the Yukon. Thanks for this wonderful experience.

As the border of Poker Creek didn't open until June 1st. We needed another option to have a Gold Rush experience. I contacted Epic North at the last minute and they were able to fit in me and my group. Yuya and Tobi were excellent guides with wonderful knowledge, chosen picture stops and we even saw some bears, dall sheep, mountain goats, bald eagles and mountain vistas second to none. I would recommend the Skagway trip to anyone who wants to see the Chilkoot Pass, Carcross Desert and the Klondike history of Skagway.

We arranged for a Skagway tour with Epic North during my stay in Whitehorse. We travelled through the Alaska Highway, Carcross First Nation and Carcross Desert, and saw the town of Skagway. Our tour guide was Yuya and he was very friendly and accommodating! He was super generous with another tour group who was traveling to Skagway to reach the ferry to Juneau. He made sure any time lost helping them was made up by ample time to shop for souvenirs, recommendations for food, and endless stories, histories and facts about Yukon, Klondike Gold Rush and everywhere else along the region. He joined us for lunch and made sure we could stop at beautiful locations along the way and helped us take photos. The tour is a bit pricey at first glance but that is because you receive so much on this tour. We went in late May so we saw valleys, mountains, sand dunes, mountains covered in snow. It was a mindblowing adventure.

We took the " From Pacific to The Arctic Ocean tour with Epic North Tour Experiences Inc - the trip was epic! Our tour was very well paced with activities and driving time, was an amazing experience. We were totally taken care of from our arrival in Whitehorse to our departure. We experienced awesome wildlife sightings, Juan would turn around and drive back for us on wildlife sightings to have good photo ops as much as possible given we were watching wildlife . Some highlights for us were the fast ferry from Skagway to Juneau with free time, the Nordic Eclipse hot springs and Liard hot springs, an ATV tour in Haines on the Takshanuk Mountain Trail (Optional), driving the Dempster highway with the awesome scenery, toasting our dip in the Arctic Ocean with Champagne. We returned from our tour feeling confident we had a comprehensive tour of the Yukon, NWT & Arctic seeing more than we expected. We were taken to excellent places for meals that we would not have known about travelling solo. I appreciated that we were well informed about hotels - motels in that it would be 3*** or best available not leading to unrealistic expectations. Accommodations were very good with a few being more basic given remote locations but totally acceptable. Juan was a terrific tour leader, he added so much enjoyment to the tour and took excellent care of us. He has a wonderful engaging personality, was always pleasant with smiles and a welcoming persona. Juan was very knowledgeable about the areas and history where we were visiting and pleased to share. He was particular to meet any and all needs within our group being attentive to everyone. He kept us well informed at all times as to our itinerary and if a change had to be made for safety explained the reasons why. We are highly recommending Epic North to friends and people we meet based on our experience and are considering a future trip in the winter. Beth & Bill

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Whitehorse.  All of the arrangements made by Tobi and Cedric worked out perfectly. Travelling across in the luxury van throughout day and night, for which you deserve special thanks. Overall, we were pleased with our itinerary: 4 days in Whitehorse, including our 3 nights tour to view Northern night at Aurora Basecamp. We felt we were able to see most of the major sights, but not exhaustingly so. Thank you again.

100% recommended. We went to from Whitehorse to Skagway day-trip. Our driver and guide was Yuya, he is knowleageable and try to answer all questions from customers. The course he went us were all historical places and beautiful scenarios. I was able to enjoy this trip 100%. Thank you so much.

This trip was full of delightful surprise! Our tour guide Tobi is very professional, kind and has rich experience of north territory. Me and my friend booked several trips with this company. They are all unique. We went to the national park in a beautiful day, encountering many wild animals on our way. Tobi led us to a special location, we enjoyed massive private nature views (coz it was really quiet other than other busy touristic sightseeing). We went to aurora hunting as well. We were lucky to have blessed weather (please bare in mind no one can control this part). We saw the most beautiful dancing northern lights on an icy lake. The stars are worth viewing too. Our best experience was to witness a successful proposal. Such a brilliant idea! And Tobi assisted the fiancé organising the lovely event all the way through. He will always customise the tour accordingly our preference. It’s a shame that such wonderful tour is barely known. 100% recommended. And I will definitely come back.
