Great resort with amazing views. The food options were very good, and the surrounding area is lovely for walking, with easy access to the sea and a clean, beautiful beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the gym was convenient and well maintained. They also have indoor swimming pool.
Overall, a fantastic stay.

I had the most fantastic time here. The rooms are superb, cleaned multiple times a day. The staff are all extremely friendly and service is 11/10. The hotel and location are beyond gorgeous - there’s not a single flaw in this place. Multiple pools, amazing gym, unbelievable gardens and a staircase directly to an insanely gorgeous beach. The food is out of this world in every location across the resort, the cocktails are great. I’m struggling to find words to describe how much I enjoyed my time here. Felt safe and at peace, unlike anywhere. I am now planning my next trip here.

We had a lovely few days at this hotel. We originally booked a resort view room but on arrival it didn’t look like it would get much sun. Upgraded to a pool view which was much better. Coming from the UK in November, we needed all the sun we could get! We opted for half board and couldn’t fault the food at all. Plenty of choice at the buffet and service very good.|The hotel is set just above the cliffs and there is a walkway and steps down to the beach which is stunning. We walked along the cliff path to Villamoura which is about 5km. Its a beautiful walk with beautiful views. The hotel also has some bikes for hire so one day we cycled along the back roads and lanes so that we could explore Villamoura a bit further. A nice easy flatish route and plenty of places for a coffee overlooking the marina.|It was nice to come back to the hotel in the afternoon and sit by the pool. Still nice and warm even though it was November.|A lovely 4 night break and would definitely return.

Overall very happy with the experience . The rooms, property , the beach and staff were excellent. My review is a little tardy but I needed to mention Daniel Lavigne who is a restaurant front house staff member. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and he is always friendly. He comes to check on you every time he sees you and is definitely an asset to your company. I hope he is acknowledged. Would stay again!

The service was perfect, from the welcome in the lobby to the luggage service and the valet service. The room was wonderfully quiet with a view of the ocean and a spacious balcony (make sure you get a room on the fourth floor for that). Every day there was bottled water and chocolate in the room and the water came in glass bottles, we were happy to see. The breakfast buffet was very good ( we stayed 5 nights). |The beach is right outside the hotel, accessible via wooden stairs. It’s a nice beach, but we missed toilets down there like there were at other public beaches we went to in the area. |It was our first stay at the Epic Sana and we would definitely pick this hotel again.

Lovely hotel and spa with heated, unheated and indoor pool so you can swim anytime of year. We loved the Japanese and fine dining restaurants, breakfast buffet is extensive with egg station for freshly cooked omelettes. Plenty of space with cabanas around the adult (unheated) pool. The spa is fabulous, I had a full body massage which was perfect for unwinding at the start of our break. There is a well equipped gym and access to the beach via a boardwalk and steps down the cliff side. All the staff were friendly and approachable. Our room was spacious with a bathtub and separate (powerful) shower. We had a balcony overlooking the gardens, but many overlook the pools. A great place to relax and enjoy some autumn sunshine.

Just back from a lovely relaxing week at Epic Sana. Quite often when I’m booking a hotel and see the photos on the website I guess it won’t look half as good, but it was! Rooms were spacious and clean. Replenished every day with fresh towels and water. The pool areas were lovely, shame there was only one heated though so everyone gravitated to that including the kids with inflatables. This is completely understandable but a bit of a pain when you want to have a swim! |The buffet breakfast was delicious and one of the nicest we’ve had and all were well catered for. The evening buffet was also good although would say at €48 each was overpriced. One night we (3 adults) ate at the nearby Chinese restaurant and paid a TOTAL of €46 and €66 at the Italian, both were equally as good! Would recommend a visit to Frank’s restaurant which is a 10 minute taxi ride away - well worth it. |There is a nice 5 minute walk down to the beach along a wooden platform and steps (not for the less mobile), but was disappointed to have to pay €50 for a front row sun bed or €30 for the next row. As part of the hotel this should be included. There was a service to get drinks and snacks online, but this didn’t work well so gave up and walked along the beach to the restaurant. |The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant and seemed to speak all languages well. If you want a fly n flop holiday this is a perfect place.
