Equatorial Penang

Overall experience is great. Loved the bed and firm yet comfy pillows. Breakfast spread was great, with a pleasant surprise of fresh passion fruit. First room service experience here, western food and pizza come in huge portion and tasted great. Local delicacies were over priced though :P Would have given 5 star if the hotel could be more baby and kid friendly

Room is comfort and the view is peaceful. The environment is well maintained. Pool is nice and have hot tub. Breakfast is great and the price is reasonable. Add on breakfast is 50% off when staying in the hotel (very happy with this offer). Staff is very friendly and welcoming (specially pool and dining area). Will definitely repeat staying here.

Built in 1990 but has lost nothing of its charm. Rooms are well maintained, spacious and clean. A large pool with a relaxing outdoor area to sit down for a snack or drink is a nice place to be in the late afternoon or evening. Its proximity to the nearby golf course with all its greenery gives the hotel a laid back feeling.

Had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here. I was not disappointed. The food is excellent especially the deserts. The romantic ambiance of the place with the songs played really sets the mood. The staff is very courteous. The view from The View is also nice. Loved the place!

Stayed here as a guest for one night. Found the place to be very refreshing and nice to walk around. The room walls are a little thin as i could hear people coughing badly from the room next door. The bedding was nice and i slept well on it. In fact the bed was spacious and can easily sleep two medium sized adults comfortably. The best part of this hotel was its food, with a wide spread and tasty meals served. Check out their vegetarian options which is pretty good

The hotel is beautiful. It’s a bit far from the city center though. The staff were helpful but not so friendly. The restaurants were good but did not offer traditional Malaysian cuisine. The pool area is gorgeous and relaxing.

The hotel is spotless, always smells incredible and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is incredibly polite and helpful! Huge thanks to Amir from reception for making sure i had a nice stay and constantly checking on my well being. He is a true asset to the hotel and brought the 5 star experience to a whole new level.

This was a fabulous hotel at reasonable prices and the staff were really incredible, extremely helpful but not intrusive at all. Room was spacious and I liked the provision of a proper work desk and work chair, I was able to work very comfortably in evenings. Breakfast was extensive, starting at 6am. Dinner was an option until 2am I believe but did not really use that. Have a swimming pool and full fitness centre. There is an outdoor trail for walking or running also. I may arrive better prepared if I return.

Hotel Equatorial Management is the perfect location to end a trip in Penang, Malaysia! The location is about 15/20 minutes from the airport with traffic. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to the airport and around Penang. The property is very impressive with a beautiful landscape and building itself. The restaurants on the property appeared to be high class and according to a local provide exceptional food. The amenities of the hotel ranged from 24/7 concierge, gym, complimentary parking and more. The front desk were quick and courteous. The provided a quick explanation of the hotel and amenities. The staff were all friendly and provided prompt responses. The two twin bedroom was perfect. The room was spacious for two adults and provided a comfortable rest. The room provided robes, slippers, safe, complimentary waters and in the morning the newspaper. The room also had a balcony facing the golf course. The room was slightly dated, but it was apparent that the hotel kept up the rooms. The breakfast was International and provided more than average selection of items. The presentation was perfect and the staff were friendly. I would recommend adding on the breakfast for a meal before a flight. Overall, I recommend this hotel for anyone about to head out of Penang.
