Had an incredible stay. The staff were absolutely amazing and super attentive. One the best holidays I have had in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend this place… wonder people, breath taking views, luxurious rooms

We paid 5* prices for our triple room. However, this was a huge let down. - Moldy, badly maintained rooms - Dingy, dark bathrooms - Outdated/rusted amenities (in-room safe) - Dilapidated exterior - Desperately limited food options What I personally felt was that the staff were super limited. And they were trying to keep this place alive to the best of their ability. Felt this property would have been a really nice place when it was first built... probably would have been a proper 5* experience in a different 'ERA' . Never again. p.s. We were stuck outside the hotel as the gates were closed. Once we called the management, a half-sleepy security appeared whilst putting on his uniform. (Not the best of start) p.s.s The only saving grace is the restaurant situated opposite this hotel called 'Persian Kitchen'. The food was fabulous.

The accommodation was excellent, but the food did not meet expectations. The portions were also very small, so I would recommend choosing only bed and breakfast (BB), as there are nearby places to buy food outside.

This hotel is a little oasis tucked away among numerous hotels lined next to each other by the ocean. When I was there the ocean was extremely high making it impossible to jostle on the beach. The hotel room I had was outstandingly beautiful, all the furniture was well appointed. The food needs improvement and refinement. Most of the food was overly salted. I tried breakfast lunch and dinners. The service was friendly and the property was quite empty. The pools, the yards, were perfectly manicured and kept so beautiful. It is right outside the road yet you feel like you are in your own little heaven. There is a bar and a restaurant, all without AC and terribly humid and hot. The AC in the rooms work really good. I loved this place and hope to return

Beautiful location for enjoying with family. Calm & quite place with sea view. Very helpful & friendly staff. Limited food varieties. Western foods were not up to the level, Sri Lankan foods were superb. Pools were dirty and poorly maintained. The private pool couldn't be used. The room was partially cleaned. There were cockroaches on the bed. Overall poorly maintained hotel not worth what you paid.

This hotel may not be for everyone but it certainly suited us. There are only 8 rooms so things are very quiet and relaxed. There are a number of staff around but due to the nature of the hotel they often need to be tracked down to order a drink etc. ||The hotel is located on the beach front but you cannot actually go in the sea here due to the rocks. However there is a lovely secluded beach a little further to the right (approx 15 min walk along the beach). Alternatively, you can jump in a tuk tuk outside the hotel for a short ride to a number of beaches close by. ||On our first night we were the only couple eating at the hotel restaurant and had a delicious meal cooked for us. The food was always lovely especially the fresh seafood. We had breakfast & dinner there for the 3 days we stayed. ||Sanjeewa was particularly welcoming. He was very chatty and attentive. He was also able to offer us advice on places to visit. He was certainly a highlight of our stay here.

The villa was really nice and the pool was pretty big. It overlooked the beach which created a wonderful atmosphere. The beach area is a bit small and rocky but fairly clean. The staff were great and very hospitable. The only slight disappointment was the food. The menu was a bit sparse in that respect and it was just about average. There was also no BBQ which would have been ideal. Overall, great stay but the menu can use an improvement.

My wife and I came here to relax after our two week tour of Sri Lanka. We were the only couple here with all the staff on tap to provide for our every need. It is beautifully appointed, scrupulously clean and staffed by the most friendly and attentive staff. The food was particular good. The manager was also very obliging to any of our requests. As we had seen the area in our tour we spent the time walking the beach, swimming in the large pool and reading. Perfect for our finish to a holiday in Sri Lanka. ( I understand the hotel is fully booked out for the three months after Christmas.)
