Absolutely love the atmosphere of this museum, the way all of the halls are arranged, the lighting, the music or appropriate sounds, everything is thoughtful and just perfect! There are soft benches, chairs and couches in case you would like to sit and enjoy a particular wall arrangement or display. Every time, this museum has something new and exciting. Very pleasant place. The new exhibitions are very satisfying every time!!!

Interesting place with creative ideas. The ticket cost is 800 rubles, and 200 for visiting the special chambers. It's convenient for English or Russian speakers. It consists of 5 floors and separated into two parts vertically. There is a café in the third floor. The exit is from the cloakroom.

Amazing and huge museum with a diversity of art styles. I especially liked that they have so much work from younger artists on display. Practically all of the explanations are available in English as well. Entrance fee is quite low. The cafe on the other hand is quite expensive but serves great coffee.

Very interesting museum. Tips: 1) buying an annual membership would be cheaper that buying a ticket for each visit. 2) nice coffee shop with a small outdoor terrace 3) souvenir shop is must see too.

The place is kinda crowded and feels a little cramped at times, but for me the contents beat the surface. The exhibitions are fresh and unique, you can go through the whole exposition in 2-3 hours. Definitely deserves a visit if you are into this sort of art.

This is one of best museuns/gallery in Saint Petesburg. Totally different of Hermitage, with interactive instalations, where the visitor is estimulated to understand art in it's own way - put your background on pieces and create your own understanding of it and create new understandings to you. This is what art really means and be at this place will take you to another level of your own concious.

Very beautiful museum of modern art. It's big with 4 floors with some permanent exposition and other sections with temporary expositions. There are multimedia rooms and a theater. There is also an elegant and very good restaurant inside and a shop with affordable things. The ticket price is on the average (500 rub) but there is no discount for students. The audio guide is available (200 rub) in Russian and in English and it helps a lot. I definitely recommend to visit it.

I really enjoyed this gallery and the mix of paintings, mixed-media and sculpture. Well laid out with something for everyone. The temporary exhibitions were well done and some of the content was thought provoking bold and fresh. Toilets were clean and getting to and from the gallery by bus was easy.
