Erg Chigaga Luxury Desert Camp (Nick & Bobo's)

Leaving a review for here as I stayed here with my partner for the 2 night stay package. (Drove direct from Marrakech to the camp and then back again after a full day in the camp). Booked direct via email with Nick who was excellent and let us know what to pay, how to pay and when to pay with details etc. Once we got closer to the date of travel we were provided a very comprehensive document with tips and advice for our trip to Morocco which is a must read and was very appreciated! We opted for a driver and this was arranged with Nick via email who gave us his number to arrange pickup. Our driver Aziz was a very confident and calm driver and dropped at many stops along the way to both the camp and from the camp back to Marrakech. He was very friendly and a treat to have with us! As for the camp itself, my expectations were blown away by how the camp is and the tents. Nick and Bobo run a tight ship in the middle of the Sahara desert and I recommend anyone to book it as well especially if you want a stress free, excellent service and luxury stay to explore the Sahara! I can't understand how anyone can rate less than 5 stars considering the location you have these facilities in! Thank you again Nick, Aiziz and Bachir!!

Words cannot describe how incredible this adventure was with this group in their camp. Everything was absolutely perfect. The location, the food, the adventures and most of the all staff. Highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience. This is the camp you want to go to 1000% over the others. Don’t be fooled by others as you need to book directly through them via email. Lastly, a huge thank you to our new friend Aziz who drove us from Marrakech and back (and was at the camp with us). Aziz not only drove us but he created an amazing experience for us, telling us about his country, life and stopped at all the best places. Many thanks Aziz you are an incredible human being!

The desert and the dunes are breathtaking, but the camps keep expanding with little regard for the land. If you visit, think about the implications of having a « luxury experience » in a desert. At this rate, future travelers wont have the same experience you will.

Our trip to Nick and Bobo’s desert camp in Erg Chigaga was nothing short of magic. We did the Marrakech to Fez route. Our driver Khalid was kind and made us very comfortable during our travel days. The camp was exactly as described and depicted, it was comfortable and very well maintained. The hammocks and a book as well as the Yahtzee game in the tent were essential to getting through the heat of the day! We also took advantage of the ATV ride which was an incredible way to see and travel the dunes. Nick was great in organizing our trip, including the stay at Auberge Festival in Todra Gorge. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to see the Sahara - a completely unforgettable experience!!

Wow. We had an amazing time here. We met beautiful people and the staff there were so friendly too. Bashir made you feel welcome and part of a big family. I forgettable. Amazing views and . . . peaceful. Make sure you have a little cash for tipping when visiting the nomad family or the camel gang.

We enjoyed a phenomenal and unforgettable trip organised by Erg Chigaga Luxury Desert Camp in April this year. Our 5-day trip started in Marrakesh and ended in Fes and included a two-night stay at the camp itself. Not only were we spared the panic of driving ourselves in Morocco, but we were treated to a fully curated trip, making regular stops at must-see attractions, hidden gems, and breathtaking views along the way. A special thanks to Nick for the impeccable planning and arrangements. The biggest thanks goes to Mohammad, the gentle giant that showed us his beautiful country. The trip would not have been the same without him. From his fascinating conversations, to his peaceful demeanour on the road, to his incredible navigation skills in the roadless dessert, to his ceaseless patience and kindness towards us - he allowed us to see a side of the country and its people, which would otherwise have been inaccessible. Thank you for an - at least once! - in a lifetime trip!

The location, accommodations, staff, and activities were all TOP NOTCH!! The owner, Nick, is a great communicator, answered all of our questions, and truly creates the most memorable experiences. I've been there 3 times now with friends, and every trip has been spectacular! Bachir and the onsite staff, delicious food, wine/drinks, and activities they set up made our trip so memorable. Thank you!! We love this Camp and can't wait to return again!

Stayed here for two nights and it was TOTALLY worth it. Nick was super responsive to inquiries, payment was processed in order and reservations were discussed and 100% accurate when we arrived at camp. We even booked our driver out of M’Hamid with Nick. He organised it and sent an email saying at 3pm Hamad will pick you up. And at 3 sharp Hamad was there. I appreciated that our driver was local to M’Hamid and was from a nomad family. Not out of Marrakesh but a real Berber. He was super nice and very informative as to life in the desert. We arrived at camp and were greeted by the whole team of staff who were sincerely helpful, sweet and very attentive. The Sahara is no joke and they put in extra effort to tend to the guests. The camp manager is Bashir and he was very professional and cared for our comfort. The Berber hospitality was abundant. The food was excellent and plentiful, the bar was stocked with plenty of liquids including wine, beer and spirits. The tents were comfortable, the bathrooms clean. The desert setup is luxury for the desert. I mean they are ensuite toilets!! It was very hot in May so we could eat dinner outside and that was great. I highly recommend this experience.
