This place is exceptionally clean. The apartments are immaculate and modern. However we had one major issue. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment. However it was in fact a studio with a Japanese style wall made of paper and wood with a sliding door. Therefore it was inaccurate to describe it as a 1 bedroom apartment and misleading. We purposefully booked a 1 bed apartment so that my sister and I would have space and wouldn't disturb eachothers sleep (one of us on the sofa bed)..but the divider provided no sound block at all. We were in effect in the same room. I raised the issue with the staff. Though they were very polite I did feel they didnt accept that calling it an 1 bedroom apartment rather than studio is misleading. However they promised us a move after 2 nights so our last 3 nights we were in a proper 1 bedroom apartment and it was perfect. I'd strongly recommend that on the booking options they label any of the rooms that have only a partition wall not an actual seperate room as a 'studio with a partitioned bedroom area'. This will avoid future issues for them and customers. It isn't fair to charge the same price for a proper 1 bedroom vs a room like that. I've given them a 3 simply because this issue caused us 2 bad nights sleep and alot of stress. However, other than that.. I would give it 4.5 stars. Staff super friendly and helpful and took action to remedy the issue. Super clean!!! And lovely decor. Kitchen well stocked. We got a lovely welcome bag because we booked direct with Eric Vokel which was such a lovely touch!! Good location (12/15 mins walk from prado museum). Plenty of restaurants within a 10 min walk. 3 supermarkets 1 minute away. One of which opens till midnight ! Close to things but on a side road which we found quiet and peaceful (though we we were on 6th floor). Minor issues like water pressure (it would come and go and would go cold so I think if someone else on 6th floor was showering it might be what caused this). With a few minor tweaks to their room descriptions and few tiny other things this could be an absolutely perfect place. Would definitely recommend but check out in advance what room you're getting.

I cannot say enough good things about Eric Vokel Atocha Suites. The staff are exceptional! I dealt with several different staff members and they all provided flawless service. I stayed in a one bedroom suite that came with a full size kitchen. There was a comfortable bed, roomy closets, a sofa, a TV with local and international channels, air conditioning, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and black out shutters. A breakfast bag was included. I received ciabatta rolls, a chocolate chip muffin, and various condiments. In the fridge was milk, yogurt, and jamon. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Atocha, yet you are away from the more touristy restaurants and shops. There is a small Supermarket Dia just down the street. The large Mercadona is just a few blocks south. The walls were solid. I didn't hear my neighbors at all. A few people here have complained about street noise at night, but Hey, you are in a city that is up all night. I slept with a noise machine and didn't wake up once. The only downside is that there is no reception after 5pm, which can be daunting for those with late check-ins. Eric Vokel may wish to consider having their reception close at 7pm or 8pm, which is still early for Madrid. Regardless, next time I am in Madrid, I would definitely stay here again.

The space was ultra clean, spacious, quiet, and the staff were very tentative and friendly. We were 5 people and booked a two apartment with 2 bathrooms for four nights. There were all amenities you can possibly need in the apartment. Small feedback would be to give us more toilet paper since we were 5 people and ran out by the 3rd day. If you’re looking to stay in a quiet area like Atocha, I would totally recommend it. But please do note that it’s not directly in the city center (which was no problem for us)

We came to the apartment at 3pm (check in time) and found out that a cleaner was still in the mid-way of cleaning. We talked to reception who immediately sent one more cleaner to help and said the apartment would he ready in 10 mins. We got into the apartment like 20 mins later and felt like that the floor might not have been mopped. I stayed there for 5 nights and found that the sole of my slippers were blackened, which always left dirty slipper print in washroom after shower. We had stayed in a 2 bedrooms 2 washrooms apartment. The furnishing however was very strange. While the master bedroom was equipped with 2 single beds placed together, the other small bedroom with only sliding door was with a double bed! My friend stayed in a 2 bedrooms 1 washroom apartment got a much better configuration which is a normal double bedroom and a twin room (as advised in website).Besides, the living room was a bit dark.On the whole, the stay was still fairly satisfactory. Reception staff was polite, helpful and efficient. Provision of basic cooking essentials including oil was good. Stuff in cleaning kit and toilet paper however was inadequate for a long stay. We needed to go to reception (opens only 0900-1700) to get additional supplies. Wish the cleaner would stock the place according to stay duration of the guests. The apartment is situated in a very convenient location. 5 mins to Metro Palos de la Frontera, 10 mins to Atocha train station, 2 mins to Carrefour Express, 7 mins to Lidl supermarket. There is also another big supermarket Dia nearby.Above all, the building provides free luggage storage facilities in 3,4 & 5 floors. You need €1 to operate the locker but you can it back when returning the key. That’s real convenient.

One of the best stays our family has experienced having travelled other cities in Europe, we were there in March-2025. This location was within 15 minutes walk from main Atocha train terminal. It is also conveniently close to a metro station. The unit was very spacious (2 bedrooms), clean, had all kitchen utensils and appliances needed, a table for dining. The receptionists were very courteous and helpful. We compared it to other lodging, we thought the price was reasonable for a family of 5, especially compared to hotels in which we need to book 2 rooms. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful three night stay for our family of five. Beds were comfortable, the welcome bag of treats was AMAZING after a long day of travel, and the location was great! Would highly recommend! We also loved that there was luggage storage! It would be nice if the room had a list of the nearest metro stops, etc. Maybe it was located somewhere and we missed it?

Checked in by Salvador, really friendly welcome and Salvador gave us some great tips for a brilliant itinerary. So welcoming. Lovely breakfast basket in the apartment when we arrived.
