Eric Vökel Suites Amsterdam

Have visited Amsterdam a few times but first stay in an apartment rather than hotel. Excellent location walking distance to the Centraal Station. Our 4th floor apartment was good size for 5 people. Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen area. Spacious lounge with an amazing view across to North Amsterdam. Great to have 24-hour concierge and luggage storage.

We rented a 3BR water facing unit for our family of five. With apartment rentals virtually eliminated in the city, this was the best option for us. The staff were warm and friendly. There is no daily service of the unit, but they were quick to get us extra items when we needed. The only downside is the location. We spend 70% of our time in Jordaan and there is no easy way to get there without a decent walk. Not really anything nearby without a 15 minute walk. It’s definitely not a dealbreaker though as it’s pretty close to Centraal Station. If I was there just with my spouse, we would choose somewhere else, but this worked great for our family of 5. Would stay again.

I highly recommend this hotel! The front desk staff is fantastic. I lost my adapter on the way to Amsterdam, and when we arrived at the hotel, the staff kindly lent me one. They were incredibly nice and considerate. One of the staff members provided me with detailed information about the hotel and its amenities. The best part was when I checked out — I mentioned that I still needed an adapter for my next stop in another European city, and the staff generously let me keep the one they had lent me. That small gesture meant a lot. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to all types of transportation you might need to get around the city or travel to other European destinations. There’s also a grocery store nearby, making it easy to buy necessities and food during your stay The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing you to cook simple family meals if you like. By coincidence, I happened to be in Amsterdam during the 2025 Sail Festival and enjoyed the festival atmosphere very much. This hotel made me appreciate the city and the people of the Netherlands even more. A big thank you to the reception staff!

We had the most amazing stay at Eric Vökel Amsterdam Suites 🌟 The staff was incredibly attentive and kind – they even wished me a happy birthday and had arranged for a birthday balloon waiting in the room. Such a thoughtful touch that made the stay extra special! 🎉 We were on a girls’ trip, and the hotel was just perfect for us. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, and the blackout curtains were a huge plus – we slept like queens. 👑 I can highly recommend this place for both friends’ getaways and other stays in Amsterdam. We’ll definitely be back.

Oh my days … we had the most incredible stay here. |We were in the penthouse suite with the biggest balcony ever, it was incredible. Views across the river to see the boat taxi, river cruises and huge cruise ships coming in. ||The bed, pillows and duvet were amazing. ||5 minutes to central station and city center. So convenient. ||The best part of this apartment … YANA! Oh how we loved her, she made everything perfect. ||We will definitely be back ❤️❤️❤️

Perfectly located and had everything we needed. Reception staff were all polite and very helpful. Very small negative...we would have loved mugs instead of the tiny tea cups. Would definitely choose EV apartments again.

This is a very nice hotel within a 10 minute walk of the central rail station. The suites are very nice. They have modern decor and good in room amenities, such as a kitchen and washer/dryer unit. The bedrooms have a simple but elegant look, and very comfortable beds. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Yana in particular provided great restaurant recommendations! Overall, this is a great hotel to use as a base for exploring Amsterdam and the surrounding area.

Nice little hotel in a great location near Amsterdam Central Station. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which was an added bonus since we were traveling with our kids. Most nearby hotels were either sold out or very expensive, so finding this place was a good balance of comfort and value. The in-room kitchen and washer were extremely convenient, especially for a family stay. Another bathroom would have made things even better, but overall the space worked well for us. The only drawback was that no room cleaning service was offered during our stay. A nice touch — we received a breakfast bag on our first morning since we booked directly through their website. Overall, a pleasant and practical choice for families visiting Amsterdam.
