The camping is very well maintained. It is a bit big so depending on where you camp, the WCs/showers can be far. Also, those are not very clean depending on the time of the day.

The website for this campsite is totally misleading. It looks like it will be grass, and shade and cleanliness. In reality motor homes are side by side in a gravel car park next to a busy road. Opposite is a bar which plays really loud music until 1am. The toilets and showers appear to never get cleaned, with hair and dirt seemingly permanent fixtures, and someone has decided that toilet seats are a luxury too far, so they are absent in all cubicles. The staff are surly at best, but rude and disinterested would be a better description. Perhaps they are jaded by people being perpetually disgusted by the campsite. Having stayed at lovely sites up and down Portugal, I can honestly say this one is the worst place, staffed by the worst people.

Our experience at this campsite could not have been worse. We stayed here for two nights with our camper. Upon arrival, we had to wait 45 minutes at reception due to the extremely slow check-in process and the inefficiency of the receptionist. After checking in, we were given a location where we had to go, but the directions were unclear and confusing. The bathroom facilities were far from acceptable. The toilets had no toilet seats, and the showers were cold in the evening. Since we had not planned our trip far in advance and wanted to stay in Ericeira for one more day, we decided to extend our stay at the campsite. That is when the problems really started. We had to wait over an hour at reception again, this time due to an extremely long queue and the fact that only one of the three reception desks was open. After finally reaching the front, I asked the lady at the desk if I could extend our stay by one more night. She said that would be fine, but that I had to return before 9 PM to pay for it. I agreed, although I chose not to pay immediately because that would have meant waiting another 45 minutes in line. When I came back from the beach around 7 PM and tried to pay, the queue was still there and even longer than it had been in the morning. I left and returned again at 8:45 PM. This time I spoke with the security guard, who was visibly embarrassed about the situation and the excessive waiting time. He mentioned I had to pay in advance but also confirmed that I could do so at checkout. After waiting another 45 minutes, even though reception should already have been closed, I was finally able to sit down and make the payment quickly. At that point, the older receptionist told me that I should be ashamed for coming so late and that it was my fault. She added that delays were due to a colleague being sick. This response made me really upset. After waiting a total of two hours in one day just to pay for a single extra night, I was finally able to settle the bill. This has by far been the worst experience I have ever had at a campsite, and I would strongly advise others not to stay here.

My favorite place to stay in Ericeira. The bungalows with sea view are the best combination of beach and restaurant access, awesome sea view while having a cute fully equipped home for a while!

Very close to the beaches and city centre of Ericeria. Price is higher than other camping places in Portugal, but with this location it’s understandable. They have a lot places under some trees, which provides you enough shadow. Only the toilets and shower could be in a better condition.

The camping site is the only one in town so the prices are a bit over the mean in portugal. In addition the security is in theory a good thing however it does not work. What I mean by that is tha you need to show a card to the security guy (bc the machines dont work atm) but the guy only checks for the color and does not ready the names. It can be inconvenient if I have to show my camping id with my hands full of surf and beach equipment. If you camp with a tent you need to pay to have your vehicle in the vicinity not even at your tent space which i find weird. Otherwise you need to park the car in the parking lot of the camping outside of the actual camping grounds. The service was very friendly and hospitavle and the location is perfect to get to the beach ro relax or surf.

If you need a campsite, it is a campsite, but nothing more. It is clean. No hot water to wash dishes. If you want to leave early you don’t get your money back. Very empty.

They didn't let us into the campsite because we didn't have our pet's vaccination record. It's a big campsite and pets aren't normally allowed to roam free, so we thought it was overzealous.
