Pros: The staff is exceptional, especially David, who was always available to assist with luggage and transportation. The front desk team was friendly, welcoming, and efficient throughout our stay.
Cons: The room floors were extremely dirty and poorly maintained, with cheap stick-on flooring that is lifting and clearly not being properly cleaned. Laundry and room service prices were excessive, towel service was inconsistent, policies were inflexible (notably the corkage fee), and in-room amenities were limited, including no coffee machine.
We arrived around 11am from a cruise and were immediately impressed by the service. David helped us with our bags and was consistently outstanding. Sebastian at the front desk efficiently combined our two reservations, switched us to a king bed, arranged a crib, and coordinated in-house laundry due to a Sunday/holiday. We even had our room by 11:40am. The front desk staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the positives quickly faded. The most significant issue was the condition of the room floors. Within about 30 minutes of walking barefoot, our feet were black, making it clear the floors were not being properly cleaned. By the second night, we had to request new sheets because of how dirty the floors were. The flooring appears to be cheap stick-on material that is already lifting in places, trapping dirt and making thorough cleaning nearly impossible. This felt unhygienic, especially for families with children, and the rooms would benefit greatly from proper tile or another durable flooring option.
The in-house laundry was another disappointment, costing $120 USD for what amounted to one to two medium loads. Room service was also overpriced; we ordered nachos and received what was essentially a meat-and-cheese bowl with only a handful of chips, along with a $6 service fee. Towel service was inconsistent despite having two adults and a child on the reservation. There was no coffee machine in the room, and the limited coffee bar was only available during breakfast with to-go cups and powdered creamer.
The final frustration came on our last night when we attempted to enjoy a bottle of wine at sunset on the empty rooftop. We were told a $30 corkage fee applied—even outside the bar area—and were directed back to our room instead. Despite our loyalty status and the amount spent on drinks, laundry, and room service, no flexibility was offered.
Overall, I wouldn’t write off this property entirely, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.
