Es Cucons, Santa Agnes de Corona, Ibiza - Explore & Book

"Drive out of San Antoni and head up and up, around hairpin bends and through glorious pine forests. The vistas are staggering, the lush foliage amazing in what you imagine to be a fairly arid country. Abruptly you plunge down into a valley, but this too is beautiful: craggy rocks, deep red earth and blossoming almond trees planted in meticulous rows. You feel worlds apart from San Antoni's clubs and crowds yet unbelievably you're only 7km away.Set back from the road and deep in this valley lies the charming Es Cucons. A carefully restored 1650s finca, this intimate hotel is cosy and colourful. It's run by a couple of Spanish sisters (Maria and Barbara) and their respective husbands (Pasi and Jaime), and it exudes their own warmth: this is the fulfilment of a family dream. The grounds are lush, teeming with lavender, geraniums, cacti and palm trees. Inside, bedrooms are beautifully decorated, each with a distinct design and private outdoor space. Come with your partner and hike or borrow bikes to explore the valley, then unwind with a specialist massage. Or just laze by the pool, a perfect sun-trap. Highs Wonderful food served alfresco in summer and in a snug dining room in autumn; great cocktails, tooLovely bathrooms with deep, claw-footed bathtubs and walk-in rain showersYour hosts: super friendly, devoting time to chat to each and every guestThe whole hotel feels really well cared for: firepits and candles are lit at night, and there are bowls of bright citrus fruit and pine cones scattered aboutA small spa area for 1 couple at a time, with sauna, hot tub, plunge pool and massage room Lows Not a cheap treat and prices don't include 10% taxA few rooms are quite dark in autumnYou definitely need to hire a car to get hereIntermittent internet access" - Liz Simpson

Great rural hotel. Rooms scattered round the main building and grounds.|We had room 15, up 20 rocky steps to lovely "garden shed." Super double bed, walk-in shower, air-conditioning, safe, minibar, and tea and coffee making. Complete isolated, so no problems using outside shower and bath. But some mosquitoes.||Lovely views over the valley. exceptional staff from reception through restaurant to room cleaners. Nothing was too much trouble. After just two nights, the breakfast staff remembered what coffee, tea,|and eggs we liked.|Nice pool with double loungers around and others in the grounds.|Restaurant served excellent lunch and dinner.|Definitely need a car as too far to walk to the nearest village which had a small bar and restaurant.

Spend 10 days at Es Cucons and loved every minute. Location was nice and quiet away from it all but also a short drive from towns and villages. Breakfast was top class always served with a smile - lovely people|The pool area was great to relax around - they just need to resolve the wasp issue which I am sure they will do. Our room - a Junior Suite was nice and spacious with a lovely balcony. Highlight of the week was meeting a former member of the pop group Kenny and his wife who was in Hot Gossip - lovely couple.

A lovely weekend break out of season. Location was nice and quiet away from it all but also a short drive from towns and villages. Food and drink at the hotel were great. A bit pricier but seems that is standard for Ibiza now. The pool area was great to relax around and rooms nice and spacious. The staff went above and beyond to give recommendations and organise taxis for us. It seemed there were lots of repeat customers there and with such lovely staff, it’s no surprise

From the minute we arrived we felt relaxed what a beautiful location in peaceful st Agnes . I have wanted to come here for years and was so happy to come here in April at the start of the season . The staff are wonderful especially Theresa and angelo so friendly and sweet . The food is outstanding from the plentiful breakfast but the a la carte menu is extraordinary the lunch and dinner deserve Michelin stars for creativity. The decor and rooms is so perfect Ibiza just calming on the êyes . There are plentiful places to sit and contemplate. The pool even in spring was 19c which for uk citizens was hot ! . The spring flowers Jasmine scented the air attention to detail was reflected by the fact the owners are often in attendance and you feel you are staying with a very attentive and caring host not a hotel . The rooms are lovely with great strong showers and full size excellent high quality toiletries . I Will want to come back over and over . I can’t fault this place

We’ve just returned from three magical nights at Es Cucons. Probably the most peaceful hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Our room was delightful and the staff were so friendly. The food was excellent - in fact everything was excellent. |If you’re looking to get away from it all this place fits the bill. |Perfect.

We went to eat tapas on a night with live music. It was really nice. The music was beautiful and not too loud. The food was absolutely excellent! We choose tapas and were really surprised by the quality! Each bite a sensation and great portions! They even had 0.0 Champagne! Which really made our day! (Example for other restaurants as 0 wine is terrible!) Really nice staff who explained what was on our table and very kind. Next year again! We didnt bring our phone with us for the first time and were disappointed we didnt, the food looked amazing too! ;-)

The most beautiful retreat in a stunning setting. Lush gardens, little nooks to explore & find your perfect spot to relax, incredible food (breakfast was amazing) and fabulous attention to detail. But best of all - the staff ❤️. All of them were attentive and friendly from the check-in to the breakfast team, from the evening restaurant team to the delightful owner who we chatted to one morning. The decor is really beautiful and they’ve taken an old finca and lovingly created a magical home.
