Escadabaixo Cozinha Brasileira

They've got three different environments: one with a piano and two others with background music. One is an outdoor area and the other is an indoor space. As soon as we got there, we were seated right away. We asked to sit next to the piano, though. As soon as a table was available, they moved us over. The food was incredible. We ordered a filet au poivre and a filet risotto with grilled cheese as the main dishes. For dessert, we got a crème brûlée and an apple strudel. Both were really good! Also, the pianist is extremely good! Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and they knew their stuff when it came to the menu. They were quick to answer our questions.

We have listened to a very sophisticated piano bar. The food was outstanding and we ordered the best dessert in Minas Gerais, a pastel de doce de leite & banana and cheese sobert (OMG!!). The drinks are sooooo good

We visited there at lunch time with 2adults and 1kids. Their entrance seemed to be small but they had big capacity to eat. Their lunch menu was based on Brazilian cuisine. Our order Spaghetti and Rissoto frutas do mar were very good and they served it fast. We enjoyed great lunch there. I think this restaurant is one of the best in Ouro Preto.

I was rudely pushed over for another person. So I decided this wasn't my place. Then on top of that the guys in the photo were staring me down as if they wanted to fight (quickly looked away when taking their picture though 🤣). Seems like a hostile and discriminatory business.

Great place, great food, great service ! Highly recommend the BBQ Costela to share as well as the pasteis ! Locally brewed beer are to try !

I won’t dine there again. Food served warm. It was bland, nothing to praise. The cheese for the pesto spaghetti was long from being Parmesan. The staff was very kind and friendly. One of the servers was not well trained, as he reached across my plate to serve my wife’s wine glass, cutlery placed on the wrong side. I will probably come back for a drink and enjoy the ambiance, but that’s it!

Absolutely lovely dining experience. From the delightful atmosphere to the great music and delicious food, I can't wait to come back! Not to mention, some of the best beer I've tasted in Brazil, hands down! So glad this place was right next to my accomodation. Amazing!!

A bit pricey but totally worthy it! Great experience... But the "traditional croquettes from germany" is fake 😂😂😂 They are great and you should order to try, but it is like a spanish croquetas with less béchamel and more meat, but comes with a moustard with honey (similar what has in germany). All the food we ordered was tasty. We ordered ouropretana, and tried many types of it... Service was great, place really enjoyable and cool!
