We spent a perfect night here on New Year's Eve. Our welcome was so friendly and we felt immediately at home in the lovely peaceful courtyard. The food in the evening and at breakfast was incredible, huge portions and delicious. The shower was hot and the room was cosy. 100% recommend!

Saïd is a very friendly host that cooks like a Michelin chef! He served the most amazing dinner I ever had in Morocco. And the saffron ice-cream was to die for as well as the saffron soup! The courtyard is lovely, full of private tables and comfortable seats. There are loads of turtles and even a frog. The bed was extremely comfortable and is covered by a net, so you can sleep with the window open safe in the knowledge that the flies and other insects won’t be all over you. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was amazing!

Absolutely loved my stay here! Extremely cozy courtyard, great food!! Best dessert in Marocco (chocolate cake and saffron ice cream)

Very nice courtyard with turtoises next to the old kashbah ruins. The food was amazing. Ideal base for hiking excursions.

The food is exceptional! We had a great one night stay on our way from the dessert to Agadir.

Provided you work on the basis that you are staying in someone’s home, not a hotel, and are happy with that concept, you would have a wonderful stay. Luxury it is not, but it is clean, comfy, with lashings of hot water, and super quiet. Rustic, quaint, and oozing character, with the Glaoui Kasbah towering beside it. Omar speaks pretty good English and French, and bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. Our Arabic being limited (i.e. confined to about 4 words!) meant that we couldn’t engage with his super smiling sister. We had read that the food was exceptional. We can only add to that description, by saying that after almost 4 weeks, their evening meal was the best we have tasted in Morocco, and we haven’t eaten badly at all! Breakfast didn’t let the side down either. Would certainly be on our “want to return” list.

World class service and experience in Taliouine! Rooms were good, bathroom and hot water. But, the winner was dinner, simply the best food we've eaten in Morocco with excellent service. It's a must visit place.

Probably the best stay we had in our 2 week vacation. The place itself is like a little Garden Eden, a small paradise in the desert, incredibly well kept. The rooms are generous and tasteful. Speaking of taste, the food there (dinner and breakfast) was mind-blowing: amazingly delicious, fresh and homemade (including the jam for breakfast, for example). We were traveling with 2 small kids (3 and 5) and everyone was endearing and so kind with them (which we realize is not always easy for hosts), we felt truly welcome. If you are in the area and get the chance to stay here, don't think twice!
