Provided you work on the basis that you are staying in someone’s home, not a hotel, and are happy with that concept, you would have a wonderful stay. Luxury it is not, but it is clean, comfy, with lashings of hot water, and super quiet. Rustic, quaint, and oozing character, with the Glaoui Kasbah towering beside it. Omar speaks pretty good English and French, and bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. Our Arabic being limited (i.e. confined to about 4 words!) meant that we couldn’t engage with his super smiling sister. We had read that the food was exceptional. We can only add to that description, by saying that after almost 4 weeks, their evening meal was the best we have tasted in Morocco, and we haven’t eaten badly at all! Breakfast didn’t let the side down either. Would certainly be on our “want to return” list.
