Really friendly staff and very good vibe. The food concept is like tapas but a bit more gourmet, so do not expect the portions to be big. We asked for tacos, which brings only 2 according to the menu, but the waiter promptly suggested that they could make another one because we were 3 people. The waiter was also very flexible when we asked him to spilt the bill in food and drinks.

Cool interior and friendly service. Was on the terrace on a quiet evening so can’t comment on the vibe, but had a great time. The food was excellent - Tiradito and the leek were so good, I could’ve just eaten that all evening!

The food and drinks are recommended! We sat on the terrace which were very typical Dutch bar tables, with glass sheets in between each group sitting on the same table! But I next time I will definitely choose a table inside since the interior design was very trendy and stylish! Being close to AlbertCuyp market, affects the noise level in the terrace, so try sitting inside when the market is closing!

A cozy, clean place with a very stylish interior and a relaxed, sunny terrace spot. The food is tasty and fair priced and the staff goes a good step beyond the necessary politeness, making it a fun place to be. The location is also good, smack in the middle of one of the biggest marketplaces in Amsterdam and not too far from public transportation either.

Excellent location in front of the Albert cuyp market, great snacks and fair prices. Even though they have a small selection at the afternoon (since lunch is only served up to 2 PM) everything we got was delicious. Staff very friendly as well.

The ambience is really chill. This place used to be where I went to listen to amateurs play/sing jazz, long time ago. Now, it is totally renovated. Tapas are very good, the balance in the flavors are remarkable. Try the taco with pulled pork and pineapple in it. Amazing. Everything, including the iberico ham was awesome! They could do better on the cocktail menu. In all, highly recommended!!

Popped in for some Brunch, haven’t had much in the way of really great food so far in Amsterdam - so this was a treat. Service was great, place had a great feel to it and the food was perfectly seasoned and portioned. Ideal to pop in whilst wandering the market, bare in mind we only had the lunch menu. I’d definitely revisit for some dinner or recommend giving it a go if in the area.

Had a really fantastic evening here. We had almost everything from the menu and all the dishes were delicious!! Would highly recommend the calamari and the spareribs!! Great atmosphere, great decor and good service.

Yelp
Great small plates Spanish restaurant and bar on the Eerste Sweelinckstraat in Amsterdam. I don't want to tell you exactly where it is because it will then be too crowded all the time. There is outside seating - most covered and a huge inside. The bar is really big. Food is great and wine list is better than most. The place can be crowded on weekends because the locals turn it into a bar rather than restaurant. But still am awesome place.

Yelp
Vibe: If you choose to sit outside for dinner be prepared to the noisiest environment - Albert Cuyp market break-down is extremely loud! We got at 6:30 and till 8:30 and throughout our dinner we had to either just wait till the noise calms down to talk or simply yell over it. We ordered: we got Gambas with Garlic; Red Snapper Ceviche and the Entrecote. Food: very tasty! Gambas a bit dry. Steak was cooked perfectly and Ceviche delicious. Service: laid back, friendly, casual. Wine: inexpensive options are available and solid wine selection Price: for all the food + 3 glasses of wine = 100 euro.

Yelp
What a terrible place...I cannot comment on the food, but the service here was a joke. We were a party of four sitting at a table basically in the corner, just being quiet and trying to have a few drinks. I guess because we are not from The Netherlands they decided to be complete assholes. Completely inattentive, when I would go to the bar due to lack of service they literally just looked at each other and snickered. It was if there was a big joke going on behind the bar...and then when the bill came they tried to pad the tab with drinks never served...we will never be back. The majority of people in Amsterdam have been pretty cool, but I would never advise a friend, local or otherwise to come here. This was the low point of our visit here. The people working here were idiots, the sangria tasted like garbage (for $25 per pitcher) and the beers were average at best, if you could get them to serve you. And this was when there were MAYBE 20 people in the entire place. I only hope if these guys visit my country sometime they are treated with more respect and better service than we received tonight...

Yelp
Great place not crowded by average tourists. Located in a hot neighborhood in Amsterdam. Amazing Spanish inspired tapas!

Yelp
Hidden gem! We got the Patatas bravas and calamari fritos both were great! If you are around the heineken experience is a must you stop by for a cocktail/beer and the music is just on point. Great decor.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, friendly staff, good tapas. They're still ironing out logistics during busy hours, and have not yet started serving cocktails (but are planning to soon)

Yelp
I've read the reviews from others on TripAdvisor and we had a different experience on a Tuesday night. We made a reservation, was seated quickly, and ordered and kept ordering. We tried: tofrito de salmon (essentially sashimi with citrus & herbs), Taco's el pastor were super tasty with juicy carnitas, Taco's to share were beef versions that were super flavorful with a crisp shell, calamari has a wonderful deep fried shell with an ink sauce. The only dish I wouldn't recommend would be the chicken yakitori which was very average and a bit dry. Terrific experience for us.

Yelp
What a disappointment! Of all the tapas we ordered we did not like any of them. The cocktails were likewise unimpressive. Prices on the other hand are impressively high. On the good side is their friendly staff and its great location.
