The main sculpture looks great and is perfect for taking nice photos, but we expected a bit more. It’s just a small courtyard with not much else to see. The whole experience goes like this: 200 pesos to park your car (no free parking nearby), about a 10-minute queue to get in, then 100 pesos per person for entry, followed by another 10–15 minutes waiting while everyone takes their turn with the main sculpture. After that, it’s about a five-minute walk around the small area before you’re done. Overall, 100 pesos isn’t expensive and the sculpture itself is impressive, but it used to be free to take a photo with it on the street. Now that it’s fenced off and ticketed, it feels a bit overrated.

AtlasAdventured recommends visiting here! If you do any Google, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. searches of Tulum and land on a blog (hopefully ours) then there's a high probability you've seen this art piece. There is some cool art in this walk through exhibit and its only a few dollars (usd) so definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area. Obviously, take your photos but there will most likely be a wait. We had a few people in line with us but we were also visiting in peak sargassum season, so Tulum’s low season. . There was a lady who worked there and was telling the story about who made it, how it came to be, and other interesting facts about the art piece. She even offered to take a photo of our family since the selfie wasnt getting the whole exhibit in the shot. Overall, a cool spot to visit and good value when compared to the high costs of everything else in Tulum these days

If you're visiting Tulum, the *Ven a la Luz* sculpture is an absolute must-see. This striking and symbolic piece of art, created by South African artist Daniel Popper, is not only visually stunning but also rich in meaning. The sculpture represents a harmonious connection between humans and nature, with a breathtaking design that seems to open up the figure’s chest to reveal a lush passage of greenery inside. There is a small entrance fee of \$5 USD per person, which goes toward the upkeep of the piece and surrounding area. While some might hesitate at the charge, it’s well worth it—not only for the opportunity to see this iconic sculpture up close, but also for the smaller photo installations within the same mini-exhibit. You'll find other beautiful and artistic backdrops ideal for photography lovers or anyone looking to capture a memorable moment in Tulum. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just exploring local landmarks, *Ven a la Luz* is a beautiful, symbolic, and Instagram-worthy stop that adds something special to your Tulum experience.

The sculpture itself is quite impressive and definitely worth seeing! The area it’s in is actually quite small, so once you see the sculpture there are just a couple of other cool art pieces around. You definitely don’t need a lot of time there. I was expecting more walking, but everything is condensed in the same space. For 100 pesos it’s still a good stop, and you can take photos for free which is a nice bonus! Overall, it was a nice experience, and if you’re in Tulum you may as well check it out! ig: @mattremblay_

It’s a beautiful sight to see, but the line, and cost is kind of annoying. I do love the beach club access you get, however it’s expensive to order anything off of that menu.

One of the employee at the Hotel told us about this place. The art was nice but the purpose behind the place and the initiative was worth it. The proceed from entry goes to different organizations supporting kids. Entry was simple. The ladies at the front collected the entry fee and direct us to the Queue. We waited and took our photo. We were able to explore the area a little and had lunch at a near by restaurant. Btw a lot of restaurants in that area.

A cool photo op area with small art pieces around the sculpture. There is beach access beside it so it's worth a visit.
