This hotel is meant to be 2 star, it is not. We have seen better hostels than this, paid far less and got far more for our money. It advertises parking, there is no parking by the hotel whatsoever. There is no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, no drinks with your evening meal, if you want water you have to pay an extortionate price for it. It does not advertise that it isn't disabled friendly, we wanted to hire a mobility scooter for the time that we were there but were turned down when they found out where we were staying due to the steps leading either down or up to the hotel and very small frontage. The rooms were awful, holes in the bathroom door, damp and dirt in the bathroom, the furniture was awful and as we paid for a balcony we expected to get one that was big enough to sit out on and with a view, you couldn't sit out on it and we didn't have a view, if we wanted one we had to pay an extra 10 euros a night. The food left a lot to be desired, no imaginaging had been put into the menu as there was very little to choose from and 9 out of the 10 days we were there we were given chips as an alternative to potatoes, the other day it was fried sliced potatoes. No way is this hotel child friendly, there is nothing for children to do at all. The reception staff are most unhelpful, if you had a query they wouldn't give you the time of day to help. This hotel needs to be categorised as a non star hotel, its brochure is very misleading and the only bit that is right in it is that it is by the sea front.
