Very good and affordable place to stay. Big rooms and the internet and facilities work fine. Staff are friendly and efficient The only negative thing is that they turn off the air conditioner in the afternoon and then you have to call them to turn it on again. Other than that, no issues and all good.

A better alternative to the so-called Cabañas. Women don't like going to Cabañas. Esmeralda Guest House is like a residential building with comfortable bed and excellent price. It has a bar and restaurant downstairs. They have a pond with big fish 🐠 and I think you can pick your fish to eat it.

I highly recommend this hotel. Room are big, clean, A/C blows very cold. and I always had ht water. wifi worked flawlessly. perfect location for 2 banks a block away.

I like the restaurant/bar in the lobby were great... I actually like the stairs going to the top floor, it was good exercise. I also really liked all of the fish in the lobby! I also had some good conversation at the bar. Overall, I would definitely visit this hotel again. The hot water shower was not that hot but not many hotels actually have hot water so I was not surprised. Just there were some really cold evenings... and as a foreigner from a northern country, I am accustomed to hot water.

+ Room is quite big. + Staff is really nice (every request we made was granted). + There is a lift. + The metro and shops are located really close. - The views are not great. What you get for the paid price is not bad!

This is our go to place to stay at when we are in the capital. Slightly less expensive when we booked through booking.com and the price was honored. Clean rooms (but no hot water). Exceptionally nice staff. A/c and ceiling fans work great. Cable tv works great, elevator works great. Great location as well walking distance to metro, mcdonald's, taco bell, krispy kreme, wendy's, little caesars, national supermarket and a pharmacy. We feel at home here!

This hotel is well locacated for the metro, the museums and the seafront There are also many places to eat including Wendy's, KFC and other great places. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room was of a substantial size with good internet. The staff were very helpful and I would return to the hotel again if I was in the area. THe only draw back was breakfast was very late in the morning, 9am and for early risers that would be a slight issue.

Great value! Clean room. Friendly staff. I unfortunately had a heart attack while staying there. They didn't change me even though my things remained in the room for a week while I was in the hospital. I highly recommend this hotel.
