A rly practical way to enter is to visit when they have exhibitions, so check their website in advance. I still dont know how to enter the gate outside but it was lunchtime when I went, so many people come and go. Inside is super cool, with soviet architecture style… I enjoyes a lot. It was also quiet, maybe one or two more viewers thats it. The space a tourist can visit is only the exhibition space, not big but aesthetically pleasing enough for u to sit and immerse a bit longer. Staff also nice. Toilet on the same floor and pretty clean.

Although there was no exhibition, I visited the building and was rejected with a very rude attitude. I'm only interested in architecture, Oscar Niemeyer is one of my favorite architects. I wanted to take a picture of the lobby at the entrance, they called the security guard. I explained the situation to another woman working in the building, and she said that if you want to visit, you can send an e-mail. I sent an e-mail and no one has responded for weeks. By the way, there is no such thing as a photo rule, millions of photos have been taken inside, I was removed by the security guard just because I took a photo of the lobby, you are very rude.

I tried two days in a row to get entrance, first day I was told due to "privatisation" so I guess they meant a private event no access and told me to come back tomorrow, next day up or dismantling work for an event was underway, again no inside viewing possible, no even a look to the main hall. Have not understood until today if / when / under what circumstances access is possible at all. Roof terrace seems to be even more difficult, a cafe there is in any case no longer.
