Sorry to say but very disappointing. We arrived to a totally empty restaurant, and was asked if we had a reservation, we didn't, the, guy on the desk made us feel we were lucky to get a table. We didn't feel welcome or comfortable.
The menu was very limited and uninspiring. We chose the chicken and mushrooms in puff pastry. The food arrived in around 5 minutes ( definitely a red flag). We were served was, like a chicken and mushrooms pie mix in some cold puff pastry, I was expecting something like chicken en croute . I'm guessing the chucked the mix in a microwave but couldn't be even bothered warming up the pasty. I could have knock up better at home in 10 minutes totally from fresh. The sad thing is, given these ingredients, added something simple bits like of local ham maybe a few fresh herbs, you could have made a really nice dish.
To me it seems like they are trying to be fine dining, but don't want to put in the effort. Too me what I was served, I would have expected better from a van at the roadside.
