Especen hotel

Nice location in the old quarter. The hotel has a main building and a secondary building down a labyrinth of small streets/alleys. The alleys are full of life and you can get anything, food, massages, tours, scooter rentals, alcohol . It's for the adventurous but don't shy away. It's an amazing location and loads of fun.

Cheap hotel but very strategic location. This is great for avid travelers who is more active outdoors and spends very little time inside hotels and rooms. The room's clean, air-conditioning is good and facilities are great. No elevator and stairs are bit tight, but the staff will definitely help you once checking in. It is very near the OLD QUARTER and the place is surrounded by cheap stores which is perfect for souvenirs, gifts, local crafts and especially traditional cuisine. The reception time however is limited. So be sure to check your email for booking confirmation.

The staff were accommodating, allowing early access to facilities, including the toilet and shower."4. Given the lack of elevator, I was relieved to get a 2nd-floor room, but disappointing the room didn't have the city view, which I booked

Do not book here! They will steal your money, and brag about renting out your room at the same time. Booked for December, cancelled October. Took my money, and took my room. Terrible service, rude manager. They enjoyed wasting my time, and changing their story over and over for an entire day. They are proud scammers.

Terrible hotel, every morning it sounded like there was a construction site next door! Paper thin walls and, bizzarely, front doors have huge glass frosted window so anytime anyone walked in corridor, automatic light came on and flooded bedroom with light! Wether it's 3am or 3pm!

Stayed here for one night when I arrived in Hanoi. Very affordable good-sized room in old-town with friendly staff. I took the bus from the airport, and it was not a far walk from the bus stop to here. The bathroom window didn't really close so there was some noise from outside, but it wasn't noisy throughout the night.

Location is nice. It is beside the St. Joseph Cathedral and is located within the old quarter. The room is okay if you are used to stay in a simple place. Downside is no elevator in this hotel. Overall, all good. Still recommended.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at for this price! The room was spotless, and the furniture looked brand new. The design was simple yet contemporary, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere. The amenities had a distinct Japanese touch, which made the stay even more impressive. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would highly recommend it
