Espíritu Sano

Espíritu Sano is hands down my favorite place in Mexico City! The staff always welcomes me with a big smile, and the vibe is just perfect—cozy, warm, and super inviting. I always leave happy. The food too is amazing. I’ve tried so many different dishes and not once have I been disappointed. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax with a book, get some work done, or just enjoy good food and good company. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!

We adore this place! It’s become our fav coffee and breakfast spot for casual, friendly and fast service. The quality of the produce is very good. The juices and smoothies are also really delicious!

My favorite place to work in the city! The food is fresh / local / regenerative and all so yummy. It's dangerous to come here hungry as all the treats are so good and mostly GF which is a nice plus. We also love Patrick, he is the best server. A staple for us and highly recommend.

The service was terrible—slow, unprofessional, and completely disorganized. However, the food was actually delicious, which made the experience even more frustrating because it deserved better service. The staff seemed indifferent, and getting their attention felt like a challenge. Definitely not worth the hassle.

The good - Cute spot. I appreciate the gluten free options and my toast with salmon and avocado was quite nice and the juice really good. They also have chargers on the patio and seem to be laptop friendly. This would have given it 4 stars. Maybe 4.2. The bad - Surprisingly small portion for the price. The gluten free bread wasn't good, but I'm not too fussed about that. What ruined it for me was the service. It was terrible, and at the end the server helped himself to a 15% tip without me confirming the amount. Language barrier aside, why not pass me the machine like I asked and like every other place around, so I can decide on the tip amount myself? Slow and rude service. Not worth it.

Cute authentic spot, staff is friendly but quality & portion of food was adequate for the asked price. I ordered a mango smoothie bowl & it looked different from the online menu & had to wait for long time for it too “unfreeze”. The mushroom tacos were filling but too salty. Also, the recommended hot chocolate made from real coco powder tasted extremely sweet. Anyways, something about the taste was off for us 😅 I did like their ginger tea, however! Maybe will give this spot another try for breakfast at later time.

I have to change my review here cause the service is totally not what it used to be Which sucks. I had to wait like 25 minutes for one protein shake and it wasn’t even full. Just terribly slow. Amazing food. Super healthy. All organic. All yummy. Served so well. And the service is just incredible. Shiva is a gift to the place. Always welcoming. Engaged. Friendly. Great conversation person.
