Esplanada Cafe

Excellent good under the tree and great music along! We had octopus and chicken skewers, highly recommend the octopus! I could have two of them!

Love this place. Great laidback atmosphere under the shade of the rubber fig trees, often with live music (usually some good samba/bossa nova). For a cafe in a park the food is great combined with excellent drinks. They do an excellent gin and tonic and unlike a lot of places in Portugal they actually show the glass the gin!

It's a simple place in the beautiful park near the old giant trees. The atmosphere is great! It's a pity that food, drinks and service is a pit poor. I was passing by and had to stop and sit there because cause they had some beautiful musicians playing, that was the best part of the experience. Beautifup Place for street artists to perform!

Had a great time with eight family members. They took the time to arrange tables for us, service was very good, everyone enjoyed their meals, the carbonara was especially good! Not terribly expensive, dinner for two with drinks for 40 Euro. Lovely atmosphere under the trees with live music playing.

We had a fantastic time here. We were staying nearby and we came here multiple times. Service was excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was great, simple and delicious. Especially the goat cheese salad, and iced coffees. The servers treated us with patience and kindness even when we showed up tired from traveling and needed things explained.

One of the best outdoor spots to sip to a glass of viño branco, especially when there's a bossa nova band making good vibes. The staff are unorganised and it usually takes a long time to get their attention and to be served, although on my last visit this weekend they were more attentive. Still, this is an amazing spot, where I even gathered with friends and family after my wedding

I was there in a Sunday afternoon and was amazing. The food was very good, the service was friendly and the environment was lovely. Just a perfect day with friends and kids.

Nice place to have a coffee in the park when sun is shining. Would recommend to rest in this quiet place for a drink and enjoy the vibe and the greenery !
