Esplanade Apartments West Beach Adelaide

Great service and location. Room was a little smaller than anticipated. Quite noisy in terms of ambient noise (gate is very loud ) but we enjoyed our time here and staff were great and helped us out whenever we needed anything

Fantastic! We (2 adults + 2 kids) stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment 1st floor. Nice & clean apartment, has everything you need for comfort. Children's playground across the road - kids love it (esp. flying fox - good for any age :) ). Next to the playground amazing clean beach with bright yellow sand. Water is nice, warm for the ocean (not as warm as in Asia's seas though), some days ocean is crystal clear , some days , with waves, not. Supermarket walking distance. By car - everything close. Very welcoming and friendly owner Lena - was really responsive to our needs. Namely, my one son & myself sleep on the floor and she provided with extra sheets and covers. There is a washing machine for small extra charge. Parking by the building, with gates. Loved our stay here and will return soon!

Despite the obvious age of these apartments, it takes nothing away from its charm. After 14 days, from Perth, staff, managers nothing was too much trouble to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms, linen, kitchen utensils, appliances all working and clean. Access across the road, to a beautiful beach, for long walks, and good restaurants, all within minutes. Reluctant to leave, which is exactly how you should feel, would definitely return, Esplanades deserves our support. Thank you.

Owners/Managers are an absolute pleasure to deal with and cannot do enough to offer their help with anything. Check in/out is made very effortless. Rooms are absolutely spotless, comfortable beds and furnishings. A little dated but very liveable. Located close to many cafe ,s bars, pubs, restaurants and other facilities.

Needed a self contained apartment for myself + husband and two teenage sons for six nights and this place was perfect. It offered secure, gated parking right outside. We had an upstairs two bedroom apartment with views of the ocean. Grassy esplanade, cafes and beach right across the road. Ideally located with City, airport, Glenelg, Harbourtown, shopping centre, bottle shop and servo all close by. The rooms were clean and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Helen, the owner, was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and re-assuring. It was perfect for early morning and evening walks along the beach - didn't even need to wear shoes, because everything is literally just across the road. So much nicer than an inner-city high rise hotel. Superb and I can't wait to return.

We enjoy so much our stay here. Helen, the owner, really a nice person! She welcomes us with warm gestures and always asked if we need anything. There's a kitchen (depend on your apartment type) and we enjoy cooking. The kitchen is fully equipped! It's really feels like home away from home.

2nd visit staying in a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. ||Experienced once again the helpful and friendly service from the same owners/managers.||Stayed in the same unit, and again it was clean, well furnished and did appreciate what looks to be a new kitchen and carpet throughout.||Best features: Great value for money, comfortable beds and fantastic location. Well maintained, no road noise ( we were in the back unit) and good quality basic accommodation.||Room for improvement: bathroom is getting a bit dated, but still clean and serviceable... Towels were small and very 'scratchy' - could do with better quality larger towels||Would I stay here again: definitely!

Excellent priced, value for money. Comfortable two bedroom self contained home away from away. Good sized lounge, dining and kitchen open plan. Bathroom is a good size with tall shower head and plenty of hot water. Queen bed in main bedroom and two singles in second bedroom. Bed very comfy. |Great place to base yourself with lots of activities around you and close enough to the city for a visit there. Half hour from the Adelaide Hills and all they offer. |Opposite the water and lots of walkways and/or cycleways. |Laundry onsite and clothesline’s available.
