Esplendor Buenos Aires

The hotel is in a nice location but the street looks a very busy and the room was quite noisy. I had to sleep with earplugs in because of the street noise.||The hotel decor is something special. The artwork spread throughout the hotel is interesting and original.||The beds were very comfortable but the shower was very difficult to work. The taps were very sensitive and we found the water either too hot or too cold, but rarely where we wanted it to be.

Would not recommend.|Good point - location, staff are polite and that's it |Bad points where do I start!! In bath shower leaks out of bottom of bath floods bathroom, very slippery very dangerous never dries it's completely flooded , air con barely works, laminate flooring badly fitted, tatty mismatched bedside furniture, disgusting mattress, no kettle, wardrobe doors mismatched and stained, no plugs in bathroom for bath or basin. Hair dryer glowed orange and smelt of burning wires hanging out of wall, basic breakfast, scrambled egg and hot dogs or toast,cereal and oranges, only fruit or herbal teabags|The whole building is in desperate need or refurbishment and there's an unpleasant smell in reception and in the rooms that they mask with sickly air freshener, hotel toilet dark and concrete floor I could go on - just don't go|No restaurant, feels is like a hostel not hotel and not a 4 star hotel- 2 star at best and that's based on location only|Our opinion Stay anywhere else!!

Stayed here for one night prior to joining a cruise in BA. Slept well due to exhaustion more than anything I think, bed was ok but a little hot, AC wasn’t controlled from individual rooms, quite a bit in the room & bathroom needed refurbishing. Breakfast was dire. Great location though.

A total disappointment at the end of the tour was the hotel Esplendour. It’s mentioned as a4star hotel with 4.1Google rating But does it any way fit into the category? NO the place is dilapidated and under renovation, the rooms are large with bad centrally controlled air conditioners, that is very poor and fails to keep the room cool or well ventilated. The windows are fixed and you cannot move them at all for fresh air. The toilets with bad and struck taps and the tap at the faucet, next to the toilet seat, produced a strong water jet, that instead of cleaning your bum, sprung to the ceiling and wetting you, instead. No facility for in room drinking water or kettle to warm water or any coffee/tea packets. I found only 1 dining area that served frugal breakfast The adjacent rooms were non functioning and their balconies were very dirty and visible from my room On the whole it’s a budget hotel. Moreover the staff were very rude and failed to help us our and I has to spend my night, by sleeping on the floor. For all that has happened Since this is a cheap hotel it doesn’t even deserves 1star rating

The hotel is situated in a central location. Many sights are in walking distance. The staff is friendly and service minded. The interior design at the lobby and the floors are also very nice. However, the rooms need to be refurbished. The bathroom designs are weird and the toilets are bad. The flush button keeps getting stuck even after it was fixed. The same type of toilets are present in every room. The AC was also not working during our stay. The breakfast is weak and has limited options.

I would like to highlight the friendly staff of the hotel, who were incredibly helpful during our stay in Argentina. We stayed here twice: the first time in a room on the third floor, and the second time in a room on the first floor. The first-floor room had high ceilings compared to the third-floor room, but it was colder. It’s true that there was some noise from the street.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Gustavo, who was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Each day, he answered our questions and assisted us with transportation around the city.||||I was especially happy to meet Juan Carlos, as he was the one I had communicated with prior to our arrival. He was attentive to all my questions, and his helpfulness reassured us that we would have a wonderful stay. His kindness and dedication made our experience even more special.||||We also had the pleasure of meeting Ariel, who always ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Daily, we were always greeted by Ariel, Gustavo or Juan Carlos. Viviene was wonderful as well—she patiently answered our many questions and made sure we had our transportation to a Tango Show.||||The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating that we truly felt at home. A special thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping everything so clean and well-maintained.||||By the end of our stay, it felt like we were saying goodbye to family. We had a fantastic experience and sincerely appreciate the outstanding hospitality. Thank you!

Excellent place to stay on a budget. The rooms are very comfortable.
