Google
It's my favourite brunch place/cafe in Cambridge! The food is amazing and the whole place has a really nice atmosphere, super relaxing and enjoyable for a date or catch-up with friends. The service is great and the staff is super friendly. I've been here quite a few times and it's always nice to come back. Definitely one of the best brunch places in Cambridge, if not the best.

Google
Nice, friendly cafe with a nice menu and great coffee. The service is nice and friendly here, table service, even outside, which seemed a bit odd but I guess the way they do it. Things are a bit on the expensive side but good quality. Coffee was fine, not amazing but pretty good. Great for larger groups due to the seating outside. Excellent for summer too.

Google
Friendly service, nice space design, music and overall aesthetic experience and early opening hours give this place its 3 stars. The food itself was rather disappointing. At 10GBP for two slices of bread with a very thin film of avocado spread I d expect my poached eggs to be poached and not hardboiled. Come one guys! You can do better than that!!!

Spacious cafe with breakfast served until noon. Very busy with waiting queue on a Sunday morning. Espresso Library is a modern cafe, serving coffee and food. Popular with young people catching up with their fellows. With floor-to-ceiling windows and white walls, it is well lit and bright, giving a modern and clean vibe. At least 20 indoors tables available. Outdoor seating available. Coffee quality may be variable. Last time I visited it was top-notch, this time it was quite burnt and bitter. Food was average.

Google
Modern / hipster vibe with welcoming staffs. I really wanted to like this place but It’s shame that I just didn’t like the pancake - it’s not usual pancakes made from flour and not sweet at all - would have been nice if this was described on the menu (the menu is rather simple so would recommend to ask the staff for the details). Coffee was too sour for my taste.

Google
This was really disappointing, I got coffee and pancakes. The coffee was good but I had to go and ask for a spoon and sugar. The pancakes where very stodgy and poorly described on menu. I'm not sure what was on them, yoghurt maybe but it wasn't very nice. They also have no WiFi.

Google
Nice place which is open even on Sundays at yearly morning. Good coffee and friendly staff. Tasty food. Slightly over priced , in my opinion, but good portion size. Overall: strong 5.

Google
Really nice place for brunch. Bright, airy and high ceilings. Service was quick and attentive. Really enjoyed the avocado toast with salmon and capers, very flavorful so you can tell the ingredients are good quality. Chemex drip coffee and chocolate Tiffin was good as well.

Yelp
The natural light coming into the Espresso Library space during the day illuminates culture and conversation, while highlighting its appealing contemporary design. We took a break here while spending the day walking around town. We were able to order lattes and hot chocolates and seat ourselves on their lounge sofas for a little while. The coffee was good, and most people seemed to be enjoying themselves, whether having a meal, or studying in small groups. I could definitely see myself hanging out here often. Cycle across nearby Parkers Piece, hang your bike on the wall, and enjoy a cup of coffee from their Cambridge Blue espresso machine!

Yelp
The place has quite a bit of a hipster vibe, which would be endearing if the quality of the food and drink was up to par. I believe the quality of this place does not justify the prices. We ordered an espresso, cafe latte and a lemon cheesecake. Cheesecake slice was a bit small, but not small enough to elicit protest of my wife. Flavor-wise it was unremarkable. The lemon flavor was there, but it was not prominent. I wish cheesecake was creamier and less sweet. It was certainly too sweet for our taste. Latte was small, served in what seemed an 8 oz glass. It was passable, but lacked flavor and was not better than a home made one, with Tesco ground beans. Sure, warm milk and caffeine are nice and comforting, but generally any other place in Cambridge can give you a latte equally good as this. Espresso was rather disappointing. It arrived flat, without crema, resembling a filter coffee more than an espresso. The beans used were good, but the extraction was faulty. The drink lacked depth in flavor and the taste dissipated in a few minutes. Espresso was served without side water. Generally, the food and drink are passable, but not exciting. I don't think I will come back soon.

Yelp
Good coffee, good space and good service. A very very popular coffee shop, which even though has a lot of space is usually full on the weekends.

Yelp
This is one of those places that has on point branding, that is let down by lots of little issues. Inattentive servers - we never got the table water we ordered. I finished my coffee before my food arrived and was never asked if I wanted another drink. No one asked us how our meal was going. Cleaned the table while my partner was still eating. Most damning however is the price to portion size ratio. £14 for a tiny shakshuka (while tasty), with only one egg? Yeah they're having a laugh....

Yelp
A hip hangout or study spot! There was a lot of natural lighting, seating, wifi, and various healthy items on the menu. The décor was pretty interesting as well.

Yelp
This is it; the pinnacle of millennial third wave coffee culture. I wish I could put this place in my pocket and take it with me everywhere, so I never have to be without their flawless single-origin Yirgacheffe (V60 or Chemex natch), funny friendly cheery service, lovely spare gallery walls and perfect airy modern decor, savory Greek frittata, and free fast wifi. Can't think of a more perfect place to plan your approach to Cambridge. If you're lucky, you'll score a castoff Guardian and overhear some of the academic 1% bitching about boys in Dutch. Things I didn't get to try that also added to the appeal: avocado toast with free range boiled eggs, hanging my bike on the wall.

Yelp
Almost entirely vegan/vegetarian menu! The Porridge Like No Other was perfect on a cold morning. It was thick, warm, and had just the right dusting of chia seeds. They were super accommodating when I asked for my syrup on the side and a side of berries. Coffee was great, and the space is bright and roomy. Since everything is made to order, expect to wait 5-10 minutes for your food. I wish I had another breakfast in Cambridge to try more on the menu!

Yelp
When we arrive in a city and seek good coffee, how do we find out? There are so many of them claiming to serve good coffee. My tip? Check out their photos and see if you can find a photo of a cup of latte with a good latte art - the perfect fern. Espresso Library has the fern and indeed it serves really good (Australian standard) coffee. And by Australian standard, for me, meaning good standard. I had their vegetarian burger for lunch - I can't remember the name but you can ask for 'you know, that burger with a big Portobello mushroom?' - delicious! Whenever in Cambridge, this is my go to place for a good coffee and simple lunch x

Yelp
This coffee shop has to be one of the best in Cambridge. Been here several times & never seem to be disappointed! Their drinks & latte art are amazing. The decor with the cycles is a great touch because well.... it's Cambridge

Yelp
Incredible new cafe. Brings a London or NYC or Seattle grade of coffee with excellent, local, organic food and snacks to the centre of Cambridge. Particularly love the Slayer espresso machine - specially imported from Seattle, one of only a handful in the UK and custom finished in Cambridge blue!

Yelp
30 minutes wait for an avocado toast and the bread was not event toasted. Shameful customer service, when I ask about it they don't even apologize and instead they ask me whether I am in a rush. The coffee was good though

Yelp
Even though it has a dorky name I concur that this is best coffee house in Cambridge, at least among 10 I've frequented. Friendly, bright, open, and excellent coffees and superb pastries especially polenta cake. Good brunch grub too - even though it's a millennial joke the avocado toast is amazing esp. with poached eggs. Crowded at times but not over-noisy and service always fast and cheery. Bicycle motif so they should've called it Spokes Coffee or the like. They also need tables out the front rather than picnic benches. Anyway, worth your business.

Yelp
Excellent café with a modern look decorated with road bikes and places to hang your bike indoor. Great place to read the paper, great music and fast wifi.

Yelp
So disappointed!! Went this morning for a light breakfast : Though the lemon drizzle cake tasted good, it was dry, compact, hard to cut with the spoon, and after complaining to the staff about it, the only answer we got was:" it's fresh, just baked from yesterday evening". Really and you are calling that fresh? And they didn't feel they had to replace it. Same with the croissant, which was apparently " freshly baked in the morning at the local bakery", but was in fact stale, dry, and tasteless. The capuccinos were good, however the foam was inexistant. One good point, the place looks great and bright, and one can find a wide range of lovely art books.

Yelp
I came here to have a coffee and do some work as it has a nice atmosphere, which is what 90% of the people there were doing when I arrived mid-afternoon on a weekday. After being there for less than half an hour, one of girls working there came over and asked me to move to the bar. Though this in itself is very bad customer service practice, I would have been a bit more understanding had I not been the only one asked to move when all of the tables around me didn't have coffee or food and were single people on their laptops. I felt singled out and unwelcome, so instead of moving to the bar (which was overlooking the kitchen and had seats without backs, one of the main reasons I chose one of the tables) I chose to leave despite my intentions to stick around longer and order some cakes and juice or more coffee over the period I was there. They lost my business then, and in the future. Plus, the coffee is overpriced.
